ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) perilaku prososial pesertadidik di SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo, (2) dukungan sosial teman sebaya peserta didikdi SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo, (3) kontribusi dukungan sosial teman sebayaterhadap perilaku prososial peserta didik.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian inidilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didikkelas VIII yang berjumlah 134 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakanadalah angket tentang perilaku prososial dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya.Analisis data untuk hipotesis pertama dan hipotesis kedua menggunakan t-test ujisatu fihak (One Tail Test) dengan uji fihak kiri, sedangkan untuk hipotesis ketigamenggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan SPSS 20.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perilaku prososial peserta didikkelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo termasuk kategori sedang, hasil penghitunganmenunjukkan thitung > ttabel yaitu 13,619 > 1,6563. (2) dukungan sosial temansebaya kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo termasuk kategori sedang, hasilpenghitungan menunjukkan thitung > ttabel yaitu 13,132 > 1,6563. (3) dukungansosial teman sebaya berkontribusi terhadap perilaku prososial peserta didik, dankontribusinya sebesar 9,6%, diperoleh dari hasil penghitungan R Square sebesar0,096.Kata kunci: dukungan sosial, teman sebaya, perilaku prososialABSTRACTThe objective of this research are to find out (1) prosocial behavior of theeighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo, (2) the peer social support ofthe eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo, (3) the peer social supportcontribution to prosocial behavior.This research is quantitative descriptive research. The research wasconducted at SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo. The sample was eighth grade, whichconsisted of 134 students. The technique of collecting data that used wastechnique of analyzing the data used for the first and second hypothesis was t-testone side (One Tail Test) with left tail test. Furthermore, simple regression lineartechnique with SPSS 20 was used to analyze the third hypothesis.The result indicate of this study that: (1) prosocial behavior at the eighthgrade students of the SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo belong to the medium category, theresults of the calculation indicate tcalculate > ttable is 13,619 > 1,6563social support at the eighth grade students of the SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirojo belongto the medium category, the results pf the calculation indicate tcalculate > ttable is13,132 > 1,6563 contributsupport, and it contribution is 9,6% obtained from the results of the calculation ofR Square of 0,096.Key words: social support, peer, prosocial behavior
