ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) peningkatan pembelajaran IPA menggunakan model MURDER dengan media gambar, (2) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penggunaan model MURDER dengan media gambar, (3) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penggunaan model MURDER dengan media gambar.
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 23 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Penggunaan model MURDER dengan media gambar dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Selang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar, yaitu siklus I 92,5%, siklus II 100%, dan siklus III 100%, (2) Penggunaan model MURDER dengan media gambar sudah dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah: membangkitkan mood siswa, menjelaskan materi, mengulangi materi, menelaah bahan pelajaran, mengembangkan materi, mempelajari kembali materi yang didapatkan, (3) Kendala yang dihadapi: (a) pada siklus I guru kurang menguasai langkah-langkah model MURDER dengan media gambar; (b) alokasi waktu untuk pengembangan materi masih kurang; (c) siswa senang bermain sendiri saat kegiatan diskusi. Solusi yang diberikan yaitu: (a) pemberian arahan mengenai langkah-langkah model MURDER dengan media gambar kepada guru; (b) menggunakan waktu seefektif mungkin; (c) memberikan nasihat kepada siswa.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model MURDER dengan media gambar dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Selang tahun ajaran 2014/2015.

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study are: (1) learning improvement of Science learning by implementing MURDER models with media image, (2) describe the steps of application MURDER models with media image, (3) to describe problems and solutions in the application of MURDER models with media image.
This research is collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycle, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection on each cycle. The subject of this research was 23 students.Techniques of collecting data were test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of the source data used triangulation techniques and triangulation of data collection techniques. Data analysis used is quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.
The result show that: (1) the application of MURDER models with media image can improve Science learning at the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Selang in the academic year of 2014/2015 indicated by completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I was 92,5%, in cycle II was 100%, in cycle III was 100%, (2) the application of MURDER models with media image have applied steps: (a) make a good mood for students, make student understand, recall the materi, digest the materi, expand the materi, and review, (3) Problems: (a) in the first cycle teacher did not master the steps of MURDER models with media image (b) allocation of time for the expand materials is still lacking (c) students like to play around while discussions. Solution of that problem are: (a) give some guidance on the steps MURDER models with media images to the teacher (b) using time effectively (c) give advice to students.
The conclusion of this research is the application of MURDER models with image media can improve Science learning outcomes at the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Selang in the academic year of 2014/2015.
