ABSTRAK
Latar belakang: Pijat bayi merupakan praktik pengasuhan anak secara tradisional yang terbukti khasiatnya. Ibu perlu mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang teknik melakukan pijat bayi secara benar sehingga ibu dapat melakukan praktik pijat bayi secara mandiri. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan pijat bayi terhadap praktik pijat bayi pada ibu.
Metode penelitian: Jenis penelitian pre-experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling sejumlah 57 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan checklist. Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan bantuan SPSS.
Hasil penelitian: Hasil nilai praktik pijat bayi sebelum diberikan penyuluhan adalah nilai rerata 10.8, nilai tertinggi 14, nilai terendah 8. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan adalah nilai rerata 25.6, nilai tertinggi 29, nilai terendah 21. Hasil analisis dengan uji wilcoxon didapatkan nilai Z -6.583 dan nilai signifikansi P 0.000.
Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh penyuluhan pijat bayi terhadap praktik pijat bayi pada ibu di Desa Tugu Kecamatan Jumantono Kabupaten Karanganyar.

ABSTRACT
Background: Infant massage is a traditional child care whose efficacy has been proven. Therefore, the mothers need to get a health extension on the correct infant massage techniques so that they can do infant massage practice autonomously.
Objective: To investigate the effect of infant massage extension on the infant massage practice by mothers in Tugu village, Jumantono sub-district, Karanganyar regency.
Method: This research used the pre-experimental research method with the one group pretest-posttest design. Its samples consisted of 57 respondents and were taken by using proportional random sampling technique. The data of research were collected through checklist and analyzed by using the Wilcoxon test aided with the computer program of SPSS.
Result: Prior to the infant massage extension, the average score was 10.8, the highest score was 14, and the lowest score was 8. Following the extension, the average score was 25.6, the highest score was 29, and the lowest score was 21 as indicated by the score of Wilcoxon test in which the score of Z  was -6.583 and the significance value was p = 0.000.
Conclusion: Infant massage extension had an effect on the infant massage practice by mothers.
