ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan penggunaan metode Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan metode Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (2) pengaruh penggunaan metode Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan metode Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (3) berapa besar pengaruh penggunaan metode Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dengan metode Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali.
Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental- semu (Quasy- Experimental Research).Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali Tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Sampel penelitian sebanyak tiga kelas X6 (NHT), X8 (TPS), X5 (Kontrol) diambil dengan teknik multistage cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, angket dan tes.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan penggunaan metode NHT dengan metode TPS terhadap hasil belajar Sosiologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan rata- rata metode NHT sebesar 84,26 dan rata- rata metode TPS sebesar 71,60 dengan ρ= 0,000 (sangat signifikan). (2) Ada pengaruh penggunaan metode NHT dengan metode TPS terhadap hasil belajar Sosiologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan harga t= 8,064; ρ= 0,000 (sangat signifikan). (3) Besar pengaruh penggunaan metode NHT dengan metode TPS terhadap hasil belajar Sosiologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali sebesar 28%
Kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada perbedaan penggunaan metode NHT dengan metode TPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali.Nilai rata- rata kelas NHT lebih tinggi daripada nilai rata- rata pada kelas TPS. Metode belajar memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 28% sedangkan 72% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

ABSTRACT
The aims of the research are to find out: (1) the different uses of Nembered Heads Together (NHT) method and Think Pair Share (TPS)  method on student learning results. (2) the influence of using Nembered Heads Together (NHT) method and Think Pair Share (TPS)  method on student learning out results. (3) how much influence the use of Nembered Heads Together (NHT) method and Think Pair Share (TPS)  method for student learning results. The study is conducted in class X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali.
This study is Quasy- Experimental Research. Thepopulation of the study is all students in SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali school year of academic 2014/ 2015. Samples of the research consists of three classes X6 (NHT), X8 (TPS), X5 (Control) and taken by multistage cluster random sampling. The technique of collecting data uses documentation, questionnaire and tests.
The results showed that: (1) there are differences in the use of  Nembered Heads Together (NHT) method and Think Pair Share (TPS)  method on the results of Sociology class X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. It can be seen from the results of data analysis showed average NHT method amounted to 84,26 and the average TPS of 71,60 with ρ= 0,000 (very significant). There is an influence the use of NHT method and TPS method on the results of Sociology class X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. It can be seen from the analysis of the data showed the price of t= 8,064; ρ= 0,000 (very significant). The hugeness of influence of TGT method and GI method on the results Sociology class X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali are 28%.
The conclusion of the study is there are differences in the use of NHT method and TPS method on learning students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. The average value of NHT is higher rather than average grade of TPS value. Learning methods gives effect to the results which is 28%, while 72% influenced by other factors.
