ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan antara penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dan metode Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa (2) pengaruh penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament dengan metode Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa (3) seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament dengan metode Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa. Adapun penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI IIS di SMA Negeri 1 banyudono.
Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kausal komparatif dengan bentuk penelitian semu. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 banyudono tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t independen sampel.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat perbedaan penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament dan metode Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 81.6250 pada metode Teams Games Tournament dan rata-rata sebesar 73.1250 pada metode Group Investigation, dengan ρ sebesar 0.000 (sangat signifikan). (2) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament dan Group Investigation, terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis t = 4.862; dengan ρ= 0.000 (sangat signifikan). (3) Besar pengaruh penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament dan Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono sebesar 8% sedangkan 92% lainya disebabkan pengaruh faktor lain.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament dan metode Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. Nilai rata-rata kelas metode Teams Games Tournament lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata kelas metode Group Investigation. Metode belajar memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa yaitu sebesar 8% sedangkan 92% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out: (1) the difference between Teams Games Tournament and Group Investigation method on sociology learning outcomes (2) the effect between Teams Games Tournament and Group Investigation method on sociology learning outcomes (3) the amount between Teams Games Tournament and Group Investigation on sociology learning outcomes. This research in the social program student grade XI in 1 Banyudono Senior High School.
This is causal comparative study through quasi experiment research. The population of the research was all of student in 1 Banyudono Senior High School in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample of this research consisted of two class taken by using cluster random sampling. The techniques of collecting the data were test and documentation. The technique of analyzing the data in this research use SPSS version 16.
It is shown that: (1) there is difference between Teams Games Tournament method and Group Investigation method on sociology learning outcomes in the social program student grade XI of 1 Banyuono Senior High School . The result of analyzing the data shows that the mean of Teams Games Tournament is 81.6250 and the mean of Group Investigation is 73.1250 with ρ = 0.000 (highly significant). (2) there is an effect between Teams Games Tournament method and Group Investigation method on the sociology learning outcomes in the social program student grade XI of 1 Banyuono Senior High School. It can be seen that t = 4.862; ρ = 0.000 (highly significant). (3) the effect of using difference learning method to sociology learning outcomes in the social program student grade XI of 1 Banyuono Senior High School are 8 % while 92% are influenced by other factors.
In conclusion, there is a difference in sociology learning outcomes of Teams Games Tournament method and Group Investigation method in the social program student grade XI of of 1 Banyuono Senior High School. Teams Games Tournament higher learning outcomes than Group Investigation. Learning method provides 8% effect to the sociology learning outcomes and 92% is provided by another factors.
