ABSTRAK
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Kalor dengan pembelajaran remidial model Problem Based Learning (PBL).
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. Populasi : semua siswa kelas X2 Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari 34 siswa. Sampel : siswa kelas X2 yang mengikuti remidiasi. Pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kajian dokumen, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran remidiasi fisika melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi Kalor dapat menuntaskan nilai belajar siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali pada Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Pembelajaran remidiasi melalui model Problem Based Learing (PBL) tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Menurut hasil wawancara dari guru, ketuntasan nilai siswa dengan menggunakan model ceramah sebanyak separuh dari total satu kelas siswa, sedangkan dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learing (PBL) siswa dapat tuntas semua. Untuk nilai kognitif siswa dalam menentukan ketuntasan diperoleh dari nilai tugas dan nilai tes remidiasi. Proporsi nilai tugas tersebut sebesar 20 % sedangkan untuk nilai tes remidiasi sebesar 80 %.

ABSTRACT
The Aim of this research is to know the passing grade of the students’ learning on Heat sub theme through Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.
This research was done in SMAN 1 Ngemplak through qualitative method with descriptive approach. Population: all student of X2 class in the academic year of 2014 / 2015 consisted of 34 students. Sample: student of X2 class who took a part on remedial learning. The data were collected through observing, interviewing, library research, and testing. The researcher used Miles and Huberman’s method in analyzing the data
The results of the research indicate that physics remedial learning through Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on Heat sub theme can help the students at X2 class in the academic year of 2014 / 2015 to pass the minimum requisite score. Remedial learning through Problem Based Learning model was done by demonstrating methods. Based on the interview result with the teacher, there were only a half of the students who passed the passing grade when using lecturing models, whereas all of the students passed the passing grade when Problem Based Learning (PBL) models was implemented. The score of the tasks and the remedial test were used to determine the student cognitive score. The researcher then accumulated 20 % of task score and 80 % of remedial test score as the final cognitive result.
