ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatkan prestasi
belajar mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di SMK N 2 Surakarta dan SMK N 5
Surakarta.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang disetiap siklus
terdapat beberapa tahapan berupa perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.
Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta
berjumlah 32 peserta didik dan SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta berjumlah 31 peserta
didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis data
dengan deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran
kooperatif Jigsaw di SMK N 2 Surakarta dan SMK N 5 Surakarta dapat
meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik dari prasiklus sampai tahap siklus II.
Di SMK N 2 Surakarta capaian prestasi belajar prasiklus sebesar 22% maka
dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I didapatkan capaian prestasi belajar sebesar 53%,
karena di siklus I belum mencapai KKM dilanjutkan ke siklus II, sehingga pada
siklus II mendapat capaian prestasi belajar sebesar 88% hasil tersebut lebih besar
dari KKM sebesar 75%. Di SMK N 5 Surakarta capaian prestasi belajar prasiklus
sebesar 53% maka dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I didapatkan capaian prestasi
belajar sebesar 65%, karena di siklus I belum mencapai KKM dilanjutkan ke
siklus II, sehingga pada siklus II mendapat capaian prestasi belajar sebesar 81%
hasil tersebut lebih besar dari KKM sebesar 75%. Simpulan penelitian adalah
model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar
peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di SMK Surakarta (Study di
SMK N 2 Surakarta dan SMK N 5 Surakarta).

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study is to know the improvement of learning
achievement in Mechanical Enginering in SMK N 2 Surakarta and SMK N 5
Surakarta.
The type of the study is action research. Which has some stages like
planning, action, observation, and reflection in every cycle. Subject of the study
are students is tenth grade of SMK N 2 Surakarta and 31 students is tenth grade of
SMK N 5 Surakarta. Technique of collecting the data used documentation and test
while for analizing the data used desciptive qualitative.
The results of the study show that the application of jigsaw cooperative
learning in SMK N 2 Surakarta and SMK N 5 Surakarta can improve the
achievement of the students from pre cycle until cycle II. The SMK N 2
Surakarta, the achievement in pre cycle is 22%. This, the action was conducted in
cycle II. The result in cycle I is 53%, because of the achievement in cycle I has
not reached the KKM, it continued to cycle II. The achievement in cycle is 88%.
The result in cycle Iiis bigger then the KKM which is 75%. In SMK N 5
Surakarta, the achievement in pre cycle is 53%. This, the action was conducted in
cycle II. The result in cycle I is 65%, because of the achievement in cycle I has
not reached the KKM, it continued to cycle II. The achievement in cycle is 81%.
The result in cycle Iiis bigger then the KKM which is 75%. The conclusion of the
research is the type cooperative learning the student’s achievement in mechanical
engineering in SMK Surakarta (Study at SMK N 2 Surakarta and SMK N 5
Surakarta).
