ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatkan prestasibelajar mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di SMK N 2 Surakarta dan SMK N 5Surakarta.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang disetiap siklusterdapat beberapa tahapan berupa perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Surakartaberjumlah 32 peserta didik dan SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta berjumlah 31 pesertadidik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis datadengan deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajarankooperatif Jigsaw di SMK N 2 Surakarta dan SMK N 5 Surakarta dapatmeningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik dari prasiklus sampai tahap siklus II.Di SMK N 2 Surakarta capaian prestasi belajar prasiklus sebesar 22% makadilakukan tindakan pada siklus I didapatkan capaian prestasi belajar sebesar 53%,karena di siklus I belum mencapai KKM dilanjutkan ke siklus II, sehingga padasiklus II mendapat capaian prestasi belajar sebesar 88% hasil tersebut lebih besardari KKM sebesar 75%. Di SMK N 5 Surakarta capaian prestasi belajar prasiklussebesar 53% maka dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I didapatkan capaian prestasibelajar sebesar 65%, karena di siklus I belum mencapai KKM dilanjutkan kesiklus II, sehingga pada siklus II mendapat capaian prestasi belajar sebesar 81%hasil tersebut lebih besar dari KKM sebesar 75%. Simpulan penelitian adalahmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw mampu meningkatkan hasil belajarpeserta didik pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik di SMK Surakarta (Study diSMK N 2 Surakarta dan SMK N 5 Surakarta).Kata kunci: Pembelajaran tipe jigsaw, Prestasi belajarABSTRACTThe purpose of the study is to know the improvement of learningachievement in Mechanical Enginering in SMK N 2 Surakarta and SMK N 5Surakarta.The type of the study is action research. Which has some stages likeplanning, action, observation, and reflection in every cycle. Subject of the studyare students is tenth grade of SMK N 2 Surakarta and 31 students is tenth grade ofSMK N 5 Surakarta. Technique of collecting the data used documentation and testwhile for analizing the data used desciptive qualitative.The results of the study show that the application of jigsaw cooperativelearning in SMK N 2 Surakarta and SMK N 5 Surakarta can improve theachievement of the students from pre cycle until cycle II. The SMK N 2Surakarta, the achievement in pre cycle is 22%. This, the action was conducted incycle II. The result in cycle I is 53%, because of the achievement in cycle I hasnot reached the KKM, it continued to cycle II. The achievement in cycle is 88%.The result in cycle Iiis bigger then the KKM which is 75%. In SMK N 5Surakarta, the achievement in pre cycle is 53%. This, the action was conducted incycle II. The result in cycle I is 65%, because of the achievement in cycle I hasnot reached the KKM, it continued to cycle II. The achievement in cycle is 81%.The result in cycle Iiis bigger then the KKM which is 75%.
