ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri siswadalam pergaulan melalui pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan penelitian pra-eksperimen desain onegroup pretestposttestdesign. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu 22 siswa yangmemiliki skor kontrol diri dalam pergaulan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan datadilakukan dengan instrumen angket kontrol diri dalam pergaulan yang telah diujivaliditas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara statistik dengan ujiwilcoxon.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri dalam pergaulan subjekpenelitian mengalami kenaikan yang ditunjukkan dari mean sebelummendapatkan perlakuan (pretest) sebesar 84,68 sedangkan mean setelah diberikanperlakuan (posttest) sebesar 89,23. Hal ini diperkuat dengan perolehan Z dari ujiwilcoxon sebesar -2,896 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,004. Nilai signifikansi <0,05 (0,004 < 0,05) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapatdisimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi efektif untuk meningkatkankontrol diri dalam pergaulan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Surakarta tahunajaran 2014/2015.Kata kunci : kontrol diri dalam pergaulan, pendidikan kesehatan reproduksiABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to improve the students’ self-control intheir interaction through reproduction health education. This study utilized preexperimentresearch approach with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjectof this study was 22 students who achieved low score for self-control in theirsocial interaction. The data collecting technique used was questionnaireinstruments on self-control in social interaction which validity and reliability hadbeen tested. The result of the study was statistically analyzed by Wilcoxon.The result of this study showed that self-control in social interaction ofthe subject of this study was improved which was shown in the difference meanscore achieved before and after the treatment was given. It was 84.68 for thepretest and 89.23 for the posttest. It was supported by the Z score from Wilcoxontest that was -2.896 with 0.004 significance. The significance score was < 0.05(0.004 < 0005) which meant Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Hence it couldbe concluded that reproduction health education was effective to improve the selfcontrolin social interaction of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 14Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/ 2015.Keywords: self-control in social interaction, reproduction health education
