ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan metode Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (2) pengaruh penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan metode Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (3) berapa besar pengaruh penggunaan metode Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan metode Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS di SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental- semu (Quasy- Experimental Research). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri Tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas diambil dengan teknik multistage cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, angket dan tes.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan penggunaan metode TGT dengan metode GI terhadap hasil belajar Sosiologi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan rata- rata metode TGT sebesar 84,00 dan rata- rata metode GI sebesar 71,33 dengan ρ= 0,000 (sangat signifikan). (2) Ada pengaruh penggunaan metode TGT dengan metode GI terhadap hasil belajar Sosiologi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan harga t= 8,382; ρ= 0,000 (sangat signifikan). (3) Besar pengaruh penggunaan metode TGT dengan metode GI terhadap hasil belajar Sosiologi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri sebesar 7%.
Kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada perbedaan penggunaan metode TGT dengan metode GI terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. Nilai rata- rata kelas TGT lebih tinggi daripada nilai rata- rata pada kelas GI. Metode belajar memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 7% sedangkan 93% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

ABSTRACT
The aims of the research are to find out: (1) the different uses of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and Group Investigation (GI) method on student learning results. (2) the influence of using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and Group Investigation (GI) method on student learning out results. (3) how much influence the use of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and Group Investigation (GI) method for student learning results.
The study is conducted in class XI IPS in SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. This study is Quasy- Experimental Research. Thepopulation of the study is all students in SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri school year 2014/ 2015. Samples of the research consists of two classes and taken by multistage cluster random sampling. The technique of collecting data uses documentation, questionnaire and tests.
The results showed that: (1) there are differences in the use of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method and Group Investigation (GI) method on the results of Sociology class XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. It can be seen from the results of data analysis showed average TGT method amounted to 84,00 and the average GI of 71,33 with ρ= 0,000 (very significant). There is an influence the use of TGT method and GI method on the results of Sociology class XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. It can be seen from the analysis of the data showed the price of t= 8,832; ρ= 0,000 (very significant). The hugeness of influenceof TGT method and GI method on the results Sociology class XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri are 7%.
The conclusion of the study is there are differences in the use of TGT method and GI method on learning students of class XI IPS SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Vincentius Giriwoyo Wonogiri. The average value of TGT is higher rather than average grade of GI value. Learning methods gives effect to the results which is7%, while 93% influenced by other factors.
