ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui wacana konflik pada sinetron Tim Bui di Metro TV. Secara khusus, penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana situasi dan kondisi konflik, cara menangani konflik, dan situasi pasca penanganan konflik yang direpresentasikan dalam sinetron Tim Bui.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui seleksi pemilihan episode kemudian pemilihan scene pada sinetron Tim Bui secara purposive sampling sesuai dengan rumusan dan tujuan penelitian. Untuk menganalisis data, penulis menggunakan model analisis wacana teks Van Dijk serta teori pemetaan konflik Amr Abdala. Penulis mengamati topik utama, visualisasi gambar dan tokoh pada sinetron tersebut. Lalu penulis mengamati dialog para tokoh untuk mendukung tema utama yang diangkat dalam sinetron tersebut.
Kesimpulan yang bisa diambil dari sinetron ini adalah sinetron ini merepresentasikan konflik yang terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat pluralis. Sinetron ini menampilkan sebuah kondisi konflik antara dua kelompok narapidana Jawa dan Batak di sebuah Lapas. Sikap primordialisme ektrem kedua kelompok memicu konflik seperti perebutan kekuasaan dan penggunaan tindak kekerasan. Pendekatan non kekerasan menjadi poin penting terutama dalam hal penanganan konflik yang diwujudkan dalam perubahan sistem keamanan dan pembentukan tim sepakbola. Upaya penanganan konflik membuahkan hal-hal positif dimulai dengan penyelesaian konflik dengan damai seperti memberi kesempatan kedua bagi anggota tim yang berbuat kesalahan, mulai tumbuh rasa persatuan, mampu meminimalisir tindak kekerasan dan antusias serta kerjasama yang solid dalam sebuah tim sepakbola.Satu hal yang menarik dalam sinetron ini, Sepakbola, permainan olahraga yang populer hampir di seluruh dunia ini diangkat sebagai salah satu upaya resolusi konflik damai dan konstruktif.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to identify conflict discourse in sinetron Tim Bui. Specifically, examine how the situation and condition of the conflict existing, the resolution of conflict, and the post-conflict condition represented in sinetron Tim Bui.
This research uses a qualitative research. The data collection technique used in this research is purposive sampling, which is, by selecting the episodes, followed by selecting scenes in the sinetron Tim Bui based on the problem statements and the research objectives. For data analysis, the researcher uses text discourse analysis by Van Dijk and conflict mapping by Amr Abdala. Firstly, researcher observes the main topic through every single dialog, visualization, and the actors in sinetron. After doing the observation, the dialogs between actors in that sinetron are analysed to support the main theme elected by the sinetron.
This research concludeds that sinetron Tim Bui has vividly illustrates diverse society conflicts in their social life.  This soap opera is featuring a condition of a conflict between two groups of prisoners, Javanese and Batak. Primordialism extreme attitude both groups has sparked a conflict such as the seizure of power and the use of violence. Non violence approachment is the main point for the resolution of conflicts, especially in terms of handling conflict are manifested in changes in the security system and the formation of the football team. Conflict resolution efforts yield positive things started with peaceful conflict resolution as giving a second chance for team members who made a mistake, start growing sense of unity, able to minimize violence and enthusiastic and solid cooperation in a football team. One unique feature in this sinetron is football, this paticular and popular sport in the world is used as a peace-maker instrument and a constructive conflict resolution.
