ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan keaktifan belajarsiswa siswa kelas X Teknik Perbaikan Bodi Otomotif C di SMK Negeri 4Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 pada mata pelajaran Teknik Listrik DasarOtomotif dan, (2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X Teknik PerbaikanBodi Otomotif C di SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 padamata pelajaran Teknik Listrik Dasar Otomotif menggunakan media animasi.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiridari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo tahunpelajaran 2014/2015. Sumber data berasal dari guru produktif, kepala tata usahadan siswa kelas X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo yang diperoleh melaluiobservasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakanadalah analisis deskriptif komparatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan media animasidalam proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XTPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo pada mata pelajaran Teknik Listrik DasarOtomotif. Pada indikator keantusiasan siswa mengikuti proses pembelajaranterjadi peningkatan dari 52,01% pada siklus 1 menjadi 81,85% pada siklus 2.Pada indikator siswa berani menjawab pertanyaan guru terjadi peningkatan dari47,58% pada siklus 1 menjadi 81,45% pada siklus 2. Pada indikator siswa lebihpercaya diri bicara di depan kelas terjadi peningkatan dari 63,30% pada siklus 1menjadi 85,88% pada siklus 2. Pada indikator siswa berani mengemukakanpendapat terjadi peningkatan dari 64,51% pada siklus 1 menjadi 90,72% padasiklus 2. Pada indikator siswa mengerjakan soal dengan usaha sendiri terjadipeningkatan dari 75,80% pada siklus 1 menjadi 91,12% pada siklus 2. (2)penerapan media animasi dalam proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkanprestasi belajar siswa kelas X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo pada pada matapelajaran Teknik Listrik Dasar Otomotif. Nilai terendah meningkat dari 55 padasiklus 1 menjadi 70 pada siklus 2. Nilai tertinggi meningkat dari 90 pada siklus 1menjadi 95 pada siklus 2. Nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat dari 75 pada siklus 1menjadi 85,33 pada siklus 2.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan media animasi dapatmeningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dan prestasi belajar siswa pada matapelajaran Teknik Listrik Dasar Otomotif siswa kelas X TBO C SMK Negeri 4Sukoharjo Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata kunci : penelitian tindakan kelas, media animasi, keaktifan belajar,prestasi belajar.ABSTRACTThe purposes of this research are (1) to improve the learning’s activity ofstudents on class X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo 2014/2015 academic year onthe subject of Basic Automotive Electrical Engineering and (2) to improve thestudents achievement of students on class X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo2014/2015 academic year on the subject of Basic Automotive Electrical Engineeringusing animation media.This classroom action research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consistedof action planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subject werestudents of class X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo 2014/2015 academic year. Thedata sourced of the research derived from the productive teacher, the head of theadministration and the students of class X TPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo2014/2015 academic year which obtained through observation, documentation,interview and test. The data analysis used was comparative descriptive analysis.The result of the research showed that (1) the application of animationmedia in the learning process can improved learning activity of students class XTPBO C SMK N 4 Sukoharjo on the subject of Basic Automotive ElectricalEngineering. The indicator of students enthusiasm followed the learning processthere was an increased from 52.01% on cycle 1 to 81.85% on cycle 2. Theindicator of student courage to answer the teacher questions there was anincreased from 47.58% on cycle 1 to 81.45% on cycle 2. The indicator of thestudent more confident to speak in front of class there was an increased from63.30% on cycle 1 to 85.88% on cycle 2. The indicator of student courage tomake an opinion increased from 64.51% on cycle 1 to 90.72% on cycle 2. Theindicator of student work on the test with their own increased from 75.80% oncycle 1 to 91.12% on cycle 2. (2) the application of animation media in thelearning process can improve the student achievement of student on class XTPBO C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo on the subject of Basic Automotive ElectricalEngineering. The lowest score increased from 55 on cycle 1 to 70 on cycle 2. Thehighest score increased from 90 on cycle 1 to 95 on cycle 2. The average score ofclass increased from 75 on cycle 1 to 85.33 on cycle 2.The conclusion of this research was the application of animation media canimproved students activity learning and students learning achievement on subject ofBasic Automotive Electrical Engineering students of class X TPBO C on SMK N4 Sukoharjo in 2014/2015 academic year.Key Words: classroom action research, animation media, learning activity, learningachievement.
