ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasibelajar IPStentangmengenaljenis-jenispekerjaandenganmetodesosiodrama (Role Playing)padaanaktunagrahitakelas IV di SLB/C YPLB Purwodadi Kabupaten Grobogan  Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.
Penelitian ini berbentuk Classroom Action Research / Penelitian Tindakan Kelas merupakan pencermatan terhadap kegiatan belajar berupa sebuah tindakan, yang sengaja dimunculkan dan terjadi dalam sebuah kelas secara bersama. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, tes dan analisis dokumen. Untuk menguji validitas data penulis menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan review informan. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah dengan analisis kritis dan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Datakualitatif dianalisisdenganteknikanalisiskritis sedangkan data yang berupa tes diklasifikasikan sebagai data kuantitatif. Data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif komparatif, yakni membandingkan nilai tes antar siklus dengan indikator pencapaian.
Hasil tes mengenaljenis-jenispekerjaan dimulai dari kemampuan awal siswa, siklus 1, dansiklus 2. Dari daftar nilai guru yang digunakan sebagai acuan dalam penentuan kemampuan awal, rata-rata kelas sebesar 56. Pada hasil tes siklus 1, rata-rata kelas sebesar 64, atau terjadi peningkatan 8 point bila dibandingkan dengan kemampuan awal. Pada hasil tes siklus 2, nilai rata-rata sebesar 72 atau terjadi peningkatan 8 point bila dibandingkan dengan hasil tes siklus 1. Bila membandingkan hasil siklus 2 dengan kemampuan awal, maka peningkatan hasil adalah sebesar 16 point.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa denganmetodesosiodrama (Role Playing)dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS tentang mengenal jenis-jenis pekerjaan pada anak tunagrahita kelasIV di SLB/C YPLB Purwodadi Kabupaten Grobogan  Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.

ABSTRACT
The goal of this research is to increase the ability of science comprehension on introduction occupationswithrole playing method the mentally retardedstudents ofgradeIV in SLB C/YPLBGroboganacademicyear 2014/2015.
This research is a Classroom Action Research concerning about the learning activity that is an action consciously appear and happen in the classroom altogether. The data source of this research are learning process of a comprehension reading which happen in the classroom with informant (teacher and student) and document. The data collection technique that are observation technique, test and analysis of documents. To verify the data validity the writer use triangulation technique and review informant. Analysis technique which is use critical and descriptive comparative analysis. The qualitative data is analyzed using the critical analyzied data mean while the data in form of test is classified as quantitative data. Those data are analyzed descriptive comparatively that comparing the test score between the sycle and the achievement indicator.
Results of tests to know the types of work starting from the beginning of the student's ability, first cycle  andsecond cycle. From the list of teachers who value used as a reference in determining the ability of the start, the average grade of 56. In the first cycle of the test results, the average class by 64, or 8 point increase when compared with the initial capability. In the second cycle test results, the average value of 72 or 8 point increase when compared with the results of the test cycle 1. When comparing the results of cycle 2 with initial capabilities, the increase is the result of 16 points.
According to the research result can be concluded that the implementation role playing methodin the learning of science can increase the ability of the science comprehension on the introduction occupationstoward the mental retardationstudent at the grade IV in SLB C/YPLBGroboganacademicyear of 2014/2015.
