ABSTRAK
Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa pada materi koloid melalui metode STAD berbantuan media Log book Chemistry (LogChem). (2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi koloid melalui metode STAD berbantuan media Log book Chemistry (LogChem).
Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono Boyolali. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penerapan metode Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) dilengkapi media Logbook Chemistry (Logchem) dapat meningkatkan kemandirian pada materi koloid. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kemandirian siswa meningkat pada siklus I dan Siklus II. Persentasi kemandirian siswa pada siklus I dan II : 39.13% dan 65,22%. (2) Penerapan metode Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) dilengkapi media Logbook Chemistry (Logchem) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi pokok koloid. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa adalah 47,83% pada siklus I dan 82,61% pada siklus II. Persentasi capaian ketuntasan aspek sikap adalah 26,09% pada siklus I dan 91,30% pada siklus II. Aspek keterampilan menunjukan ketercapain 100% pada siklus pertama

ABSTRACT
The aims of the research were to improve (1) student’s independence learning in colloids subject by using STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) assisted by Logbook Chemistry media (LogChem), (2) learning achievement in in colloids subject by using STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) assisted by Logbook Chemistry media (LogChem).
This research was a Classroom Action Research which was held in two cycles. Each cycle contains four steps. There are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of the research was class XI MIA 2 of Banyudono 1 state Senior Highschool in the academic year of 2014/2015. Data were obtained by tests, observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis.
The results indicated that (1) the student’s independence learning in colloids subject can be improved by application of Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) assisted by Logbook Chemistry media (LogChem). In cycle I, the average percentage of student’s independence learning was 39.13% and increased to 65.22% in cycle II. (2) student’s achievement in colloids subject can be improved by application of Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) assisted by Logbook Chemistry media (LogChem). In cycle I, the average percentage of student’s achievement was 47.83% and increased to 82.61% in cycle II. In cycle I, the average percentage of student’s attitude aspect was 26.09% and increased to 91.30% in cycle II. The percentage of student’s psychomotor was 100%.
