ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan self-regulated learning untuk meningkatkan kemandirian pemilihan karier peserta didik Kelas IX SMP Islam Diponegoro tahun ajaran 2015/2016.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design yang terdiri dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian masing-masing kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol 18 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan Mann Whitney dan Wilcoxon.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari Uji Mann Whitney adalah 0,031 dengan signifikansi 0,05 sehingga 0,031 < 0,05. Jadi, terdapat perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol setelah kelompok eksperimen diberikan treatment self-regulated learning. Hasil uji tersebut didukung oleh Uji Wilcoxon yang diperoleh hasil 0,000. Pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 berarti 0,000 < 0,05. Jadi, terdapat perbedaan antara nilai pretest dengan nilai postest kelompok eksperimen.
Simpulan penelitian ini adalah self-regulated learning efektif untuk meningkatkan kemandirian pemilihan karier peserta didik Kelas IX SMP Islam Diponegoro Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to know the effectiveness of self-regulated learning to improve autonomy in career choosing of IX grade students of SMP Islam Diponegoro Surakarta in The Academic Year 2015/2016.
This research was a Quasi Experimental Research (Quasi Experimental Design) with Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design which was consistof experimental group and control group. The subjects of each experimental group and control group were 18 students. The questionnaires were used to collect the data and Mann Whitney and Wilcoxon were used to analysis.
The result showed that from Mann Whitney analysis obtained 0.031, so that 0.031<0.05. It meant that there was a difference between experimental group and control group after experimental group were given the treatment in form of self-regulated learning. The final result from the analysis that supported by Wilcoxon Test, was 0.000 at the significance 0.05; so it meant that 0.000<0.05. So, there was a difference between pretest score and posttest score of experimental group after given self-regulated learning.
The conclusion of this research was that the self-regulated learning was effective to improve autonomy in career choosing of IX Grade students of SMP Islam Diponegoro Surakarta in The Academic Year 2015/2016.
