ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar
siswa pada mata pelajaran Keselamatan, Kesehatan Kerja dan Lingkungan Hidup
(K3LH) di kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta tahun
pelajaran 2014/2015 melalui penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning
(CTL).
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian
dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus penelitian, setiap siklus penelitian meliputi empat
tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek
penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta
yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru, siswa dan dokumen. Teknik
pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. uji
validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data dan triangulasi metode. Analisis
data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif dan analisis kritis. Prosedur
penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model contextual
teaching and learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan
hasil belajar sebesar 48,28 % dengan rincian pada pratindakan 31,03 % meningkat
menjadi 51,72 % pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 79,31 % pada siklus II. Nilai
rata-rata kelas juga mengalami peningkatan 18,48 dari pratindakan 67,93 meningkat
3,1 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 71,03 dan meningkat menjadi 86,41 pada siklus
II. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran contextual
teaching and learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata
pelajaran Keselamatan, Kesehatan Kerja dan lingkungan hidup (K3LH) kelas X
Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Kristen 1 Surakarta.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to investigate the improvement of the
learning result in the subject matter of Application of Health, Occupational Health
and Environment of the students in Grade X of Office Administration Department of
Christian Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015
through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model.
This research used the classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle
consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and
reflection. The subjects of research were the students as many as 29 in Grade X of
Office Administration Department of the aforementioned school. The data sources of
research were a teacher, students, and documents. The data of research are collected
through in-depth interview, observation, documentation, and test. They were
validated by using the data and method triangulations and analyzed by using the
descriptive comparative analytical techniques of analysis. The procedures of research
included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.
The results of research show that the application of the CTL model can
improve the students’ learning result as much as 48.28%. Prior to the treatment, the
learning result is 31.03 %. Following the treatment, it becomes 51.72 % in Cycle I
and 79.31 % in Cycle II respectively. The class average score also improves as much
as 18.48. Prior to the treatment, the average score is 67.93. Following the treatment it
becomes 71.03 in Cycle I and 86.41 in Cycle II respectively. Thus, the application of
the CTL model improves the learning result in the subject matter of Application of
Health, Occupational Health and Environment of the students in Grade X of Office
Administration Department of Christian Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in
Academic Year 2014/2015.
