ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhiauditor switching pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Faktor– faktor tersebut adalah pergantian manajemen, ukuran perusahaan klien, opiniaudit, ukuran KAP dan financial distress.Penelitian ini menggunakan data laporan tahunan perusahaan yangterdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2010 – 2014. Metode yang digunakanuntuk menentukan sampel adalah metode purposive sampling. Total sampelpenelitian berjumlah 43 perusahaan. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisisregresi logistik.Hasil pengujian terhadap hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa opini auditberpengaruh terhadap auditor switching, sedangkan pergantian manajemen,ukuran perusahaan, ukuran KAP dan financial distress tidak berpengaruh terhadapauditor switching.Kata Kunci: auditor switching, Bursa Efek Indonesia, regresi logistikABSTRACTThere search aimed to examine the factors that affect the auditorswitching among companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange. The factors inthis study are management change, the size of the client company, audit opinion,the size of public accountant firms, and financial distress.The research uses annual reports data of company listed in IndonesianStock Exchange from year 2010 – 2014. The methods used to determine sample ispurposive sampling method. The total sample in this study are 43 companies. Thehypothesis testing uses logistics regression.The results show that the audit opinion affect on auditor switching,whereas management change, the size of the client company, the size of publicaccountant firms, and financial distress have no affect on auditor switching.Keywords: auditor switching, Indonesian Stock Exchange, logistics regression
