ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan: (1) aktivitas belajar pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan siswa kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, (2) prestasi belajar pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan siswa kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdapat empat tahapan yang terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa dapat dilihat dari siklus I diperoleh 85,0% dan pada siklus II diperoleh hasil 97,1%. Sedangkan peningkatan prestasi belajar meliputi aspek pengetahuan dan sikap. Pada aspek pengetahuan, ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 65,7% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 80,0% pada siklus II. Dari aspek sikap menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan presentase dari 82,9% pada siklus I menjadi 97,1% pada siklus II, sedangkan ketercapaian dari aspek keterampilan adalah 100% pada siklus I.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI): (1) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan siswa kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dan (2) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan siswa kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the research were to improve: (1) the activity of student on the subject of solubility and solubility product of class XI Science 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat on academic year 2014/2015, (2) the student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product of class XI Science 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat on academic year 2014/2015.
This was a classroom action research which was held in two cycles. The implementation phase of the cycle, consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subject was the student of class XI science 4 of SMA Negeri Kebakkramat academic year 2014/2015. Data was obtained through interviews, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using technique of qualitative descriptive analysis.
The research’s results showed that the application of learning models group investigation can improve the activity and student achievement in learning on subject solubility and solubility product. The improvement student’s activity which in the first cycle gained 85.0% and in the second cycle gained 97.1%. While student achievement include cognitive, affective and psychomotor. In the cognitive, student mastery learning from 65.7% in the first cycle increased to 80.0% in the second cycle. From the affective aspect indicates that there is an increased percentage of 82.9% in the first cycle to 97.1% in the second cycle, while the psychomotor aspects percentage is 100% in the first cycle.
The conclusion of this research were the application of learning models group investigation could (1) to improve the activity of student on subject solubility and solubility product of class XI Science 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat on academic year 2014/2015, and (2) to improve the student achievement on subject solubility and solubility product of class XI Science 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat on academic year 2014/2015.
