ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan penggunaan metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa (2) pengaruh penggunaan metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa (3) seberapa besar pengaruh metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kausal komparatif dengan bentuk eksperimen semu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas diambil dengan teknik Multistage Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis SPSS Versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) ada perbedaan penggunaan metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan rata-rata metode Make A Match sebesar 82.2667 dan rata-rata metode Snowball Throwing sebesar 75.0667 dengan (Sangat Signifikan). (2) ada pengaruh penggunaan metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan t =5.288 dengan (Sangat Signifikan). (3) besar pengaruh metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas XI IPS sebesar 9%. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada perbedaan penggunaan metode Make A Match dan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan. Nilai rata-rata kelas yang menggunakan metode Make A Match lebih tinggi daripada nilai rata-rata kelas Snowball Throwing. Metode belajar memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar sosiologi yaitu sebesar 9%, sedangkan 91% di pengaruhi faktor lain. ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out: (1) the difference between Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method on sociology learning outcomes (2) the effect between Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method on sociology learning outcomes (3) how many effect Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method on sociology learning outcomes. This research in eleventh-grade-student of social program of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan. This research is a causal comparative study through quasi experiment research. The population was all of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan in academic year of 2014/2015. The sample of the research consisted of two class taken by using multistage cluster random sampling. The techniques collection of data used test, questionnaire, and documentation. The techniques data analysis used SPSS Version 16. This result of the research shows that (1) there is diference between the Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method on socilology learning outcomes in the eleventh-grade-student of sosial study program of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan in academic year of 2014/2015. The result of data analysis shows that mean of Make A Match method is 82.2667 and the mean of Snowball Throwing method is 75.0667 with (very significant). (2) there is an effect between Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method on the sociology learning outcomes to the eleventh-grade-students of social study program in SMA negeri 1 Jogonalan. This result shows that t=5.288 dengan (very significant). (3) the effect of using Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method in sociology learning outcomes to the eleventh-grade-student of social study program is 9%. In conclusion, these is a diference between the Make A Match and Snowball Throwing method on socilology learning outcomes in the eleventh-grade-student of sosial study program of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan in academic year of 2014/2015. The mean score of Make A Match method higher learning outcomes than Snowball Throwing method.
