Wonten ing kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali, guru kirang saged nglibataken siswa, pramila motivasi lan prestasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra wonten ing siswa taksih andhap. Kagem mrantasi perkawis punika, kawontenaken panaliten punika ingkang ancasipun kagem ningkataken motivasi lan prestasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra tumrap siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali kanthi ngetrepaken metode inkuiri.
Panaliten punika kalebet panaliten tindakan kelas (PTK). Panaliten punika kalampahan dumugi kalih siklus. Wonten ing saben siklus kadhapuk saking: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, lan refleksi. Subjek panaliten punika siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali ingkang gunggungipun 31 siswa. Sumber data punika saking narasumber inggih punika guru kaliyan siswa, lan data asil observasi. Teknik kangge ngempalaken data punika ngginakaken: pengamatan, wawanrembag, tes tertulis, lan analisis dokumen. Validitas data punika ngginakaken teknik triangulasi sumber, metode, lan teori. Analisis data ngginakaken deskriptif komparatif.
Asil panaliten nedahaken: (1) pangetreping metode inkuiri saged ningkataken motivasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra, (2) penerapan metode inkuiri saged ningkataken prestasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra teks Serat Wedhatama Pupuh Sinom dhumateng siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali. Asil kasebat nedahaken bilih metode inkuiri punika saged ningkataken motivasi lan prestasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra saking pratindakan dumugi siklus II. Wonten ing proses pasinaon pratindakan, motivasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra taksih andhap, kanthi angka ketekunan, keuletan, minat, lan keaktifan inggih punika: 48,38%; 41,93%; 45,16%; lan 25,80% saking jumlah siswa. Perkawis punika ugi kadadosan wonten ing prestasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra, bilih siswa ingkang saged lulus saking KKM inggih punika 35,48%. Wonten ing siklus I wonten pamindhakan motivasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra kanthi angka ketekunan, keuletan, minat, lan keaktifan inggih punika: 61,29%; 61,29%; 74,19%; 58,06% lan wonten paningkatan malih in siklus II inggih punika: 90,32%; 80,64%; 83,87%;77,42%. Prestasi pasinaon apresiasi sastra siswa ing siklus I ugi wonten paningkatan dumugi 67,74% ingkang lulus saking KKM, lan ing siklus II ugi wonten paningkatan dumugi 87,09%.

ABSTRAK
Dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa, seharusnya melibatkan peserta didik secara langsung agar pembelajaran dapat lebih bermakna. Suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan akan memengaruhi motivasi dan prestasi belajar pada siswa. Di kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali, pembelajaran belum terlalu melibatkan siswa sehingga motivasi dan prestasi belajar apresiasi sastra pada siswa masih rendah. Mengatasi hal tersebut, perlu diadakan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar apresiasi sastra pada siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 dengan penerapan metode inkuiri.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, pada tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari narasumber yaitu guru beserta siswa, dan data hasil observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu: pengamatan, wawancara, tes tertulis, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber, metode, dan teori. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif komparatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) penerapan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar apresiasi sastra , (2) penerapan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar apresiasi sastra pada siswa kelas X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali. Hasil tersebut ditunjukkan melalui penerapan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar apresiasi sastra dari pratindakan hingga ke siklus II. Pada proses pembelajaran pratindakan, motivasi belajar apresiasi sastra rendah, dengan ditandai angka ketekunan; keuletan; minat; dan keaktifan masing-masing sebesar 48,38%; 41,93%; 45,16%; dan 25,80% dari jumlah siswa. Hal ini juga terjadi pada prestasi belajar apresiasi sastra, di mana siswa yang mencapai KKM hanya sebesar 35,48%. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar apresiasi sastra dengan angka ketekunan; keuletan; minat; dan keaktifan sebesar 61,29%; 61,29%; 74,19%; 58,06% dan meningkat lagi di siklus II menjadi 90,32%; 80,64%; 83,87%;77,42% dari jumlah siswa. Prestasi belajar apresiasi dadtra pada siswa di siklus I mencapai 67,74% yang mencapai KKM dengan nilai rata-rata 76,71 dan pada siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan menjadi 87,09% siswa yang mencapai KKM dengan nilai rata-rata 80,22.

ABSTRACT
In Javanese language teaching and learning, ideally the process involves students directly in order to make the process more meaningful. The enjoyable learning atmosphere will affect the motivation and learning achievement of the students. In the class X MIA 4 SMAN 1 Boyolali, the teaching-learning process not yet fully involves the students so the motivation and learning achievement on literature appreciation of the students is still low. To solve the problem, this research was conducted to improve the students’ motivation and learning achievement on literature appreciation in class X MIA 4 at SMAN 1 Boyolali academic year of 2014/2015 with the application of inquiry-based method.
This research is a classroom action research (CAR). This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class X MIA 4 at SMAN 1 Boyolali with 31 students total. The data sourced from the students and the teachers and the observation data. The data collection techniques were used, they were: observation, interviews, written tests, and document analysis. The validity check of the data source was using triangulation techniques, methods, and theory. The data analysis was using comparative descriptive.
The results showed: (1) the application of the inquiry-based method able to increase the motivation to learn the literature appreciation, (2) the application of the inquiry-based method able to improve students’ learning achievement on literature appreciation in class X MIA 4 at SMAN 1 Boyolali. The results are shown through the application of inquiry-based method that can improve motivation and learning achievement on literary appreciation in pre-action phase to the cycle II. In the pre-action learning process, the learning motivation was low on literature appreciation, with marked level of diligence; ductility; interest; and liveliness respectively by 48.38%; 41.93%; 45.16%; and 25.80% of the total number of students. It also occurs in learning achievement on literature appreciation, in which students are achieving GPA (KKM) amounted to only 35.48%. In the cycle I the motivation to learn on literature appreciation was risen with the number of perseverance level; ductility; interest; and liveliness of 61.29%; 61.29%; 74.19%; 58.06% and increased again in the cycle II into 90.32%; 80.64%; 83.87%; 77.42%. The literature appreciation of the students’ learning achievement in cycle II reached 67.74%, which reached GPA and the cycle II was also increased to 87.09% of students who reach GPA.
