ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mengetahui karakteristik modul pembelajaranfisika SMA berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terintegrasi pendidikankarakter siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Sukamulia; (2) mengetahui kelayakan modulpembelajaran fisika SMA berbasis CTL terintegrasi pendidikan karakter; (3)mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Sukamulia setelahmenggunakan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis CTL terintegrasi pendidikan karakter.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D).Pengembangan dilaksanakan dengan mengacu pada model Borg and Gall yang terdiriatas tujuh tahap yaitu: (1) research and information collecting; (2) planing; (3) developpreliminary form of product; (4) preliminary field testing; (5) main product revision; (6)main field testing; (7) operational product revision. Pengembangan modul ini dinilaiberdasarkan kelayakan isi dan kegrafisan kemudian direvisi dan diterapkan padapembelajaran di kelas X IPA-2. Produk penelitian pengembangan ini adalah modulpembelajaran fisika SMA/MA kelas X berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) terinetegrasi pendidikan karakter. Subjek uji coba pemakaian produk modulberbasis CTL untuk uji coba terbatas adalah siswa kelas X IPA-4 SMA Negeri 1Sukamulia yang sedang menempuh semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yangberjumlah 9 siswa, sedangkan untuk uji coba diperluas adalah kelas X IPA-2 yangberjumlah 31 siswa. instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi silabus, RPP,lembar observasi sekolah, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, karaktersitik siswa, angketrespon siswa, penilaian aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Uji coba diperluasdengan one group pretest-posttest design. Data hasil belajar aspek pengetahuandianalisis dengan uji t dua sampel berpasangan menggunakan program statistik SPSS18, data hasil belajar aspek sikap dan keterampilan siswa dianalisis dengan melihat rataratapencapaian setiap aspek penilaian.Kesimpulan penelitian dan pengembangan adalah: (1) pengembangan modulpembelajaran fisika SMA berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)terintegrasi pendidikan karakter dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa metode Research andDevelopment salah satunya oleh Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi dengan membatasilangkah penelitian yang dapat menghasilkan suatu produk yang divalidasi dan diujicoba; (2) penilaian kelayakan produk modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkanmendapat nilai dengan kategori sangat baik dari para validator sehingga layakdigunakan; dan (3) pencapaian hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan siswa setelah mengikutipembelajaran mengalami peningkatan, aspek indikator sikap tertinggi adalah jujursedangkan aspek indikator keterampilan tertinggi adalah membaca buku/ modul siswa.Kata kunci: Pengembangan modul fisika, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL),pendidikan karakter, pencapaian hasil belajarABSTRACTThe purpose of this study are: (1) determine characteristics of the developmentof module-based learning high school physics Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)integrated character education class X of SMAN 1 Sukamulia; (2) determine thefeasibility of high school physics-based learning modules CTL integrated charactereducation; (3) determine the increase in the results of class X student of SMAN 1Sukamulia after using physics based learning modules CTL integrated charactereducation.The method used Research and Development (R & D). Productresearch is the development of high school physics learning modules / MA-based XclassContextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terinetegrasi character education.Subject test module product based approach to the use of Contextual Teaching andLearning (CTL) for a limited trial is class X IPA-4 SMAN 1 Sukamulia who are takingthe 1st half 2014/2015 school year totaling 9 students, while for the trial expanded IPAis a class X-2, which amounts to 31 students. instruments used is a validation sheetsyllabus, lesson plans, school observation sheets, feasibility study, the characteristics ofstudents, student questionnaire responses, assesses the knowledge, attitudes, and skills.The trial was expanded with one group pretest-posttest design. Data from study aspectsof knowledge analyzed by two sample paired t test using SPSS 18, the data of studyingaspects of students' attitudes and skills are analyzed by looking at the averageachievement of each aspect of the assessment.Conclusions of research and development are: (1) the development of learningmodules for high school physics-based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)integrated character education can be done by several methods Research andDevelopment one by Borg & Gall modified by restricting the research steps which canproduce a product that validated and tested; (2) a feasibility assessment of learningmodules developed products scored very well with the category of the validator so thatused; and (3) the achievement of learning outcomes aspects of the student's knowledgeafter participating in the learning has increased, the highest aspect of the attitudeindicator is honest while aspects indicator highest skill is reading a book / studentmodules.Keywords: Development of physics module, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL),character education, achievement outcomes
