ABSTRACT
The research aimed to enhance student’s learning motivation by implementation of guided inquiry model at grade X-1 SMAN 3 Boyolali academic year 2014/2015.
This research was a Classroom Action Research that performed within 3 cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 steps, there are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject is 32 students of grade X-1 SMAN 3 Boyolali academic year 2014/2015. Data were obtained by observation, test, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique. To measure student’s learning motivation activity had been observed and questionaire had been distributed as well.Precycle showed that student’s learning motivation of grade X-I SMAN3 Boyolali.
Based on the result of the research showed improvement on learning motivation. Learning motivation on cycle I has reached 66,77%, cycle II 73,31%, and cycle III 78,55%. The conclusion of the research is implementation of guided inquiry model enhanced the learning motivation in biology at Grade X-1 of SMAN 3 Boyolali.
