ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis narasi siswa dan (2) meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa melalui pendekatan kooperatif think pair share dan penggunaan media film animasi.
Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Amin Rais total 30 orang, 16 laki-laki, 14 perempuan dan Guru kelas V Amin Rais. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peristiwa proses pembelajaran, informan, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, kajian dokumen, dan pemberian tugas atau tes, dan wawancara. Validitasnya diperiksa menggunakan triangulasi metode pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif komparatif dan teknik analisis kritis. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan kooperatif metode think pair share dengan media film animasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis narasi dan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. Peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis narasi sugestif ditandai dengan peningkatan nilai kinerja siswa dan kinerja guru. Penilaian terhadap kinerja siswa dan kinerja guru. Nilai rata-rata kinerja siswa pada siklus I mencapai 11,16 (60%) dengan kriteria kurang dan pada siklus II mencapai 12,53 (80%) dengan kriteria baik. Nilai rata-rata kinerja guru pada siklus I mencapai 80 dengan kriteria baik dan pada siklus II nilai kinerja guru mencapai 89 dengan kriteria baik. Adapun peningkatan keterampilan menulis narasi sugestif siswa ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis narasi sugestif siswa mencapai 70,50 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 60%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis narasi sugestif mencapai 73,33 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 80%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kooperatif metode think pair share dengan media film animasi efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran menulis narasi sugestif.

ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were to: (1) improve the quality of narative writing learning process and (2) to improve students` suggestive narative writing skill using cooperative approach of think pair share method with animation as a media in students of Class V Amin Rais SD Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga.
This study was a Classrom Action Research (CAR) conducted in SD Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. The subject in this study were students of V Amin Rais class totaling 30 people, consisting, 16 male, 14 female and class teacher of V Amin Rais class. Data sources in this study were learning process event, informants, and documents. Data collection technique included observation, document study, assignments/test, and interview. The validity was tested using triangulation i.e. data sources triangulation. The data analysis technique and data collection methods triangulation the data analysis techniques used were comparative descriptive technique and critical analysis technique. This classroom action research was performed in two cycles. Each cycle included: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection.
Based on the study results, it was concluded that cooperative approach of think pair share method with animation as a media can improve suggestive narative writing skill of students of V Amin Rais class SD Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. The improvement of the quality of suggestive narative writing learning process was marked by the increase of student`s and teachers` performance scores. The average score of student`s perfomance in cycle I was 11,16 (60%) in the adequate criteria, cycle II was 12,53 (80%) in the good criteria. The average score of teachers` perfomance in cycle I was 80 in good criteria and cycle II was 89 in good criteria. The improvement of students suggestive narative skill was marked by the increasing number of students reaching minimum mastery criteria. In cycle I the average score of suggestive narative writing skill was 70,50 with mastery percentage of 60%. In cycle II it was 73,33 with mastery percentage of 80% with cooperative approach of think pair share method with animation as a media were effective in suggestive narative writing lesson.
