BSTRAKLean manufacturing merupakan salah satu metode untuk meningkatkanproduktivitas perusahaan dengan cara mengurangi pemborosan yang ada di lantaiproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan lean manufacturing di CV. AClass furniture Surakarta. CV. A Class furniture mempunyai persentaseketerlambatan pengiriman yang tinggi yang disebabkan oleh keterlambatan prosesproduksi komponen. Keterlambatan proses produksi disebabkan oleh adanyapemborosan berupa non value added activity sebesar 34%. Penelitian inimenggunakan standardisasi kerja yang merupakan salah satu tools dalam leanmanufacturing. Penerapan standardisasi kerja menyebabkan CV. A Class furnituremampu meningkatkan jumlah produksi dari 9 produk per hari mejadi 21 produk perhari. Standardisasi kerja juga efektif digunakan untuk menyeimbangkan bebankerja operator sehingga aliran proses produksi berjalan kontinyu.Kata Kunci: Beban Kerja, Lean Manufacturing, Non Value Added Activity, StandardisasiKerjaABSTRACTLean manufacturing is a method used in an attempt to improve onecompany’s productivity by reducing waste in the production floor. This researchaims to implement lean manufacturing in a furniture SMEs in Surakarta, the ‘AClass Furniture’. A Class Furniture is having a high delivery delay caused by thecomponent process production delay. Production process delay is caused due towaste by means of non-value added activity about 34%. This paper will usestandardization work which is one of the tools in lean manufacturing. Theapplication of standardization work has improve the A Class Furniture productivityfrom 9 products per day to 21 products per day.
