ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) penerapan model group investigasi dengan media visualisasi Museum Juang ‘45, 2) pelaksanaan penerapan model group investigasi dengan media visualisasi Museum Juang ‘45, 3) peningkatan minat belajar dan prestasi belajar sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga Siklus, masing-masing Siklus terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi dan rekomendasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi atau pengamatan terhadap proses pembelajaran group investigasi dengan media visualisasi, angket minat belajar siswa dan tes kognitif untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa serta wawancara.
Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah : adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap metode baru dan meningkatnya minat belajar siswa dari mulai awal prasiklus sampai siklus ke III dengan pencapain prestasi terhadap ketuntasan nilai di atas KKM sebesar 100% pada siklus ke III. Keberhasilan ini dapat dilihat dari tingkat prosentase minat belajar siswa yang meningkat dari mulai pra siklus yang tuntas hanya 5 siswa atau 14 %, pada Siklus I mengalami sedikit peningkatan siswa yang tuntas 20 siswa atau 56 %, pada Siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang cukup tinggi yaitu siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 32 atau 89 %, dan pada Siklus III mengalami peningkatan dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100 % atau 36 siswa semuanya tuntas dalam segi munculnya minat belajar sejarah.
Sedangkan data hasil belajar setiap siklus juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan mulai dari Pra-Siklus yaitu, siswa yang tuntas nilainya diatas KKM 75 saat pra Siklus adalah 12 siswa, pada Siklus I ada kenaiakan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 16 siswa sehingga dibandingkan pra siklus ada kenaikan sebanyak 4 siswa, pada Siklus II adalah 28 siswa sehingga dibandingkan siklus I ada kenaikan sebanyak 12 siswa, sedangkan siswa yang tuntas saat Siklus III adalah 36 siswa sehingga dibandingkan siklus II ada kenaikan sebanyak 8 siswa. Pada Pra Siklus secara klasikal siswa yang tuntas adalah 33%, siklus I sebesar 44%, Siklus II sebesar 78 % sedangkan pada siklus III mencapai 100%. Dari pemaparan data diatas diketahui bahwa penerapan metode Grup Investigasi dengan menggunaan media visualisasi Museum Juang ’45 dapat meningkatkan minat dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XII IPS 1 di SMAK Untung Suropati Sidoarjo.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the research was to determine: 1) the planning application of the group investigation model with the media visualization of Juang '45 Museum, 2) the implementing application of the group investigation model with the media visualization of Juang '45 Museum, 3) the improving interest for learning and learning achievement according to the learning materials. The procedure of the research was action class research. The research did in three cycles, each cycle consists of five stages: plan, implementation, observation, reflection and recommendation. The research method which used was observation or observation of the learning process of the investigation group with the media visualization, student's interest questionnaires and cognitive tests to determine student's achievement and interviews.
The results which achieve in this study are: there is an enhancement in the teachers' understanding of the new method and enhancement of the student's interest from pre-cycle until the third cycle by reaching the achievement of the completeness score above the KKM value as 100% in the third cycle. This success can be seen from the percentage of the student's interest which increased from the start of pre-cycles were completed only 5 students, or 14%, in first cycle experienced a slight enhancement, the students whose completed were 20 students or 56%, in the second cycle increased high enough, the students whose completed were 32 or 89%, and in third cycle increased by 100% classical completeness or 36 students completed in terms of the interest emergence in history learning.
While the data of learning results of each cycle was also experienced the significant enhancement start from Pre-Cycle, the students whose the scores passed above KKM 75 were 12 students in the pre-cycle, the first cycle there was enhancement of the completeness number as many as 16 students that compared with the pre-cycle there was an enhancement only 4 students, in the second cycle was 28 students that compared with the first cycle which there was an enhancement only 12 students, while the students whose completed the third cycle were 36 students so that compared with the second cycle there was an enhancement only 8 students. In the pre-cycle, the students whose completed classically were 33%, the first cycle as 44%, the second cycle as much as 78%, while the third cycle reached 100%. From the data exposure above is known that the application of the Group Investigations method by use the media visualization of Juang '45 Museum can make the student's interest and the student's achievement in the 12th Social 1 class at the Untung Suropati Catholic Senior High School, Sidoarjo.
