ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang penelitian adalah dengan diberlakukannya kurikulum 2013 tentang pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar utamanya di Kota Surakarta, 1) Ketersediaan buku ajar pendidikan  jasmani kelas 1 sekolah  dasar tentang  buku  pembelajaran  tematik  masih  minim.       2) Belum banyak guru  yang bersedia menyusun dan mengembangkan bahan ajar penjas secara mandiri.  Adapun tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah, 1) Untuk menemukan kebenaran pelaksanaan tahap I tentang kebenaran hasil analisis kebutuhan guna mengidentifikasi permasalahan ketersediaan materi buku ajar sebagai pendamping buku teks Penjasorkes kelas 1 sekolah dasar sesuai kurikulum 2013, dan untuk menemukan kebenaran pengembangan produk buku ajar pendamping buku materi kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran Penjasorkes kelas 1 sekolah dasar di Kota Surakarta. 2) Untuk menemukan kebenaran hasil pelaksanaan tahap 2 yaitu uji coba produk buku ajar pendamping buku materi kurikulum 2013 baik dalam uji coba kelompok kecil maupun kelompok besar. 3) Untuk menemukan kebenaran hasil tahap 3 uji efektivitas produk buku ajar pendamping buku teks kurikulum 2013, menemukan keberhasilan perbaikan produk, dan menemukan hasil akhir berupa produk yang telah dihasilkan melalui proses uji coba.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan langkah analisis kebutuhan menggunakan metode wawancara dengan guru penjas sekolah dasar di Kota Surakarta, dari wawancara diketahui bahwa ketersediaan  buku ajar pembelajaran tematik masih minim, dan guru belum menyusun secara mandiri. Tahap kedua adalah penyusunan produk pengembangan buku ajar penjas berbasis pembelajaran tematik kelas 1 sekolah dasar dengan tujuan sebagai pelengkap dan pendamping buku teks penjas yang sudah ada. Buku yang disusun meliputi buku untuk siswa terdiri dari buku semester 1 dan buku semester 2, serta buku pedoman mengajar bagi guru yang dinamakan buku guru terdiri dari buku guru semester 1 dan buku guru semester 2.
Selanjutnya hasil produk di uji cobakan pada pada uji coba kelompok kecil di SD Negeri Sumber IV dengan hasil skor 90% yang artinya valid bisa digunakan. Dan uji coba kelompok besar pada SD Negeri Tempel dengan skor hasil 90%, pada SD Islam Internasional Al Abidin dengan hasil skor 87%, serta pada SD Negeri Kleco I dengan hasil skor 90%  yang artinya produk valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai buku pedoman pembelajaran. Tahap 3 yaitu uji efektivitas, dari uji coba yang telah dilaksanakan  ada masukan dari ahli praktisi dan ahli akademisi bahwa hal-hal yang perlu diperbaiki dari produk buku ajar yang dihasilkan adalah warna dan gambar supaya disusun dengan warna yang mencolok untuk merespon minat siswa, selain itu juga cover pada produk supaya disusun dengan kertas tebal standar cover untuk melindungi halaman materi di dalamnya.
Kesimpulannya adalah produk pengembangan buku ajar pendidikan jasmani berbasis pembelajaran tematik kelas 1 sekolah dasar sebagai pendamping buku teks kurikulum 2013 terbukti efektif digunakan dan layak sebagai buku pedoman pembelajaran kelas 1 sekolah dasar khususnya di Kota Surakarta.
ABSTRACT
The study background was enactment of 2013 curriculum on thematic learning in elementary schools especially in Surakarta City. 1) The availability of thematic textbook of physical education for first grade of elementary school is still minimal. 2) There are many teachers who are willing prepared and developed the physical education learning material independently. The study objectives to be achieved in this study were 1) found the truth of the first stage implementation of the truth of the needs analysis results in order to identify the problems of availability of materials textbook as a companion of physical education textbook for first grade of elementary school according to the 2013 curriculum, and found the truth of product development of textbook as companion of 2013 curriculum textbooks for physical education learning in first grade of elementary school in Surakarta. 2) Found the truth of the results of second stage implementation on the trial of textbook product as companion of 2013 curriculum textbook in both of small or large trial group. 3) Found the truth of the results of third stage of the products effectiveness testing of the textbook product as companion of 2013curriculum textbook, found the success of product improvement, and found the final product result that has been produced through the testing process.
The study method was used the research and development method. The needs analysis was used interviews with teachers of physical education of elementary school in Surakarta. From the interviews was known that the availability of thematic learning textbooks are still minimal, and the teachers have not prepared independently. The second stage is the product preparation of development of physical education textbook based on thematic learning for first grade of elementary school as a complement and companion of existing physical education textbook. The books were compiled including of students books consisted of first and second semester textbooks, and the teacher handbooks were consisted of first and second semester teacher book.
Furthermore, the products results were tested on the small groups trials in the Forth State Elementary Schools of Sumber Banjarsari Surakarta with the score of 90%, which means this is valid useable. The large groups testing in the State Elementary School of Tempel Banjarsari Surakarta with the score of 90%, in Al Abidin International Islamic Elementary School with the score of 87%, and in First State Elementary School of Kleco with the score of 90%, which means that the product is valid and can be used as a guidebook learning. Thirst stage is the effectiveness testing, from the trials that have been carried out there is input from practitioners and academic experts that there are many things that need to be repaired from the textbook product including of colors and images must be prepared with striking colors to respond to student’s interest, and the cover products must be prepared with the standard of cover book thickness to protect the materials inside pages.
The conclusion is the product development of physical education textbook based on thematic learning for first grade of elementary school as a companion of 2013 curriculum textbook was proved to be effective and feasible as a guidebook for first grade elementary school, especially in Surakarta.
