ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah : (1) Untuk  maningkatkan motivasi belajar geografi pada siswa kelas XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dalam pelajaran geografi;  (2) Untuk  maningkatkan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas XI IPS1 MAN 2 Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dalam pelajaran geografi.  
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan alur penelitiannya yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.alur tersebut disusun hingga membentuk sebuah siklus. Penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, yaitu dengan melibatkan teman sejawat yang bekerjasama mengindentifikasi masalah, penyusunan rencana, melaksanakan tindakan, mengobservasi dan merefleksi. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas XI IPS 1 Man 2 Pontianak, berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara (1) Angket motivasi belajar;(2) Tes hasil belajar geografi;(3) Observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis secara kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah: motivasi belajar geografi dan hasil belajar geografi pada kondisi awal 32 siswa atau 80% yang belum mencapai KKM dan 8 siswa atau 20% yang sudah mencapai KKM untuk motivasi belajar geografi.sedangkan untuk hasil belajar geografi sebanyak28 siswa atau 70%yang belum mencapai KKM dan 12 siswa atau 30% sudah mencapai KKM. Pada siklus I sebanyak 23 siswa atau 57,5% yang belum mencapai KKM dan 17 atau 42,5% siswa yang sudah mencapai KKM.sedangkan untuk hasil belajar geografi 21 siswa atau 52,5% belum mencapai KKM dan 19 siswa atau 47,5 % sudah mencapai KKM. Pada siklus II sebanyak 7 siswa atau 17,5% yang belum mencapai KKM dan 33 atau 82,5% siswa yang sudah mencapai KKM.sedangkan untuk hasil belajar geografi 6 siswa atau 15% belum mencapai KKM dan 34 siswa atau 85 % sudah mencapai KKM.
Siswa merasa puas dan merasa senang dengan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video hal ini dilihat dari angket kepuasan siswa yang 38 siswa dari 40 siswa merasa puas dan pembelajaran ini sudah sesuai dengan perencanaan. Sedangkan menurut guru mata pelajaran sudah merasa puas karena dengan menggunakan media video ini dapat membantu menyampaikan materi dengan menampilkan keadaan nyata tanpa harus kelapangaan secara langsung, serta  dengan menggunakan video membuat siswa berfikir secara aktif dan tidak menimbulkan kebosanan yang dapat berpengaruh dengan hasil belajar karena motivasi yang ada dari dalam maupun luar diri siswa tidak begitu besar. Pembelajaran dengan media video ini juga sudah benar dan baik sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran . akan tetapi terdapat kelemahan dalam penggunaan media video ini, guru harus bisa memanfaatkan atau mensetting waktu yang pas karena kalau tidak akan lama dipersiapan pemutaran video, serta tidak semua guru bisa mengunduh video dari yutobe maupun situs yang lain, dan keterbatasan proyektor yang tidak semua kelas berfungsi dengan baik.

ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study are: (1) To increase motivation to learn geography in class XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Pontianak in the academic year of 2015/2016 in geography subject; (2) To increase geography learning outcome in class XI MAN 2 Pontianak in the academic year of 2015/2016 in geography subject.
The method of the study used in this research is a classroom action research (PTK) with some stages called: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The stages are arranged to form a cycle. This research is collaborative study which involves colleagues who collaborate to identify the problems, preparation of plans, carrying out the action, observation and reflection. The Subjects of this study is class XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Pontianak consist of 40 students. Techniques of data collection used are (1) Questionnaire of motivation to learn; (2) Test; and (3) Observation. Analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis.
The Results of this study are: students’ motivation to learn geography and geography learning outcomes in the initial conditions of 32 students or 80% who have not yet reached KKM and 8 students or 20% who had reached KKM for motivation to learn geography. There are 28 geography student learning outcomes or 70% who have not yet reached KKM and 12 students or 30% has been reached KKM. In the first cycle there are    23 students or 57.5% who have not yet reached KKM and 17 or 42.5% of students who have achieved learning outcomes geography KKM. Besides, there are 21 students or 52.5% have not yet reached KKM and 19 students or 47.5 % has reached KKM. In the second cycle there are 7 or 17.5% of students who have not yet reached KKM and 33 or 82.5% of students who have reached KKM. Besides, there are  6 student of geography learning outcomes or 15% has not been reached KKM and 34 students or 85% has been reached KKM .
Students are satisfied and happy with the process of learning by using video as teaching media. it is seen from the result of questionnaire which 38 students from 40 students were satisfied and this study are in accordance with the planning. Meanwhile, according to the subject teachers are satisfied because by using video can help teacher to deliver material to show the real situation without studying in the field directly. By using video, it can help students to think actively and avoid boredom that can affect learning outcomes. Motivation which comes from outside or inside of the student is not so great. Therefore, Learning with video as media is also true and good in accordance with the lesson plan. However, there are some weaknesses in the use of the video as teaching media. Teachers must be able to take advantage of the right time because it should have well preparation to play the video, and not all teachers can download the video from the YouTube as well as other resouces, and the limitations of projectors that not all class work properly.
