ABSTRAK
Untuk mengurangi limbah akibat penggunaan bahan bakar fosil, perusahaan menerapkan metode Green Manufacturing dalam proses produksinya, salah satunya dengan penggunaan bahan bakar alternatif Wooden Saw Dust dan Rice Husk. Peramalan perlu dilakukan untuk membantu perusahaan merencanakan kebutuhan bahan bakar alternatif tersebut. Untuk mendapatkan hasil peramalan yang lebih akurat, maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perbandingan metode Grey Forecasting GM (2,1) dan GM (1,1). Metode Grey Forecasting merupakan metode peramalan time series yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis ketidakpastian sistem dengan keterbatasan dan/atau kekurangan data. Proses perhitungan dengan Grey Forecasting tidak memerlukan semua data historis, namun hanya membutuhkan minimal data sebanyak empat periode. Untuk mendapatkan metode peramalan yang lebih baik, metode MSE, MAD, dan MAPE digunakan sebagai kriteria. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Grey Forecasting GM (1,1) menjadi metode peramalan terpilih karena memiliki nilai error yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan GM (2,1).

ABSTRACT
To reduce waste due to the use of fossil fuels, the company implemented Green Manufacturing method in its production processes, like wooden saw dust and rice husk. To help the company plans the needs of alternative fuels, it is necessary to forecast the needs of the fuels. To obtain more accurate forecasting result, in this research a comparison is conducted between two Grey Forecasting methods GM (2,1) and GM (1,1). Grey Forecasting method is a time series forecasting method that can be used to analyze the uncertainty of the system with limited and/or lack of data. The calculation process with Grey Forecasting method doesn’t require all the historical data, but only requires at minimum of four periods of data. To determine the better forecasting method the MSE, MAD, and MAPE methods are used as criteria. In this research, the Grey Forecasting method of GM (1,1) was chosen as the better method since it has the smallest error value compared to GM (2.1).
