ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan hasil belajarantara siswa yang diajar melalui pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik berbasislingkungan dengan siswa yang di ajar melalui pendekatan pembelajaran guidedinquiry berbasis lingkungan; (2) Perbedaan hasil belajar antara hasil belajar IPAantara siswa yang bermotivasi tinggi dengan yang bermotivasi rendah;(3) Pengaruh interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dan tingkat motivasibelajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas; (4) Perbedaan hasil belajar IPAsiswa antar pendekatan pembelajaran dan antar motivasi siswa.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Eksperimen semu dengan memecahkelas menjadi dua yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Rancanganpenelitian menggunakan eksperimen faktorial 2 × 2. Teknik yang digunakandalam pengambilan data adalah Tes Hasil Belajar IPA materi adaptasi tumbuhandan Angket Motivasi Belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians duajalan (two way anova).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada efek pendekatanpembelajaran, harga statistik uji Fhitung > Ftabel = 10,096 > 4, maka Ho1 ditolak. Halini berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan antara penerapanpembelajaran dengan pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik berbasis lingkungan danpendekatan pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis lingkungan terhadap hasilbelajar IPA siswa Kelas V SD. 2) Fhitung > Ftabel = 15,262 > 4,01 maka Ho1 ditolak.Hal ini berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang sangat signifikan antara siswayang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, motivasi belajar tinggi terhadap hasilbelajar IPA siswa Kelas V SD. 3) Pada interaksi efek pendekatan pembelajarandan motivasi belajar IPA siswa, harga statistik uji Fhitung > Ftabel = 8,207 > 4,01maka Ho3 ditolak. Berarti terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara penggunaanpendekatan pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajarIPAsiswa Kelas V SD. 4) Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik berbasislingkungan pada siswa bermotivasi tinggi memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih baikdibanding siswa bermotivasi rendah, serta lebih baik dibanding siswa yang diajarmelalui pendekatan pembelajaran guided inquiry pada siswa bermotivasi tinggidan siswa bermotivasi rendah.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar IPA, motivasi, Saintifik dan Guided InquiryABSTRACTThis study aims to determine: (1) The difference in learning outcomesbetween students who are taught through with scientific approach based onenvironment againts students who are learn with guided inquiry approach basedon environment; (2) The difference of learning outcomes between learningoutcomes among students who are highly motivated againts learning outcomesamong students who are low motivated; (3) The effect of the interaction betweenlearning approach and level of motivation toward student learning outcomes; (4)The difference of student learning outcomes between the approach and betweenthe motivation.This study using a quasy experimental by dividing sample intoexperimental groups and the control group. The study design using a 2 × 2factorial experimental techniques used in data collection was learning outcomesTest of science subject on plant adaptation sub material and questionnaire ofmotivation. Data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).The results showing that the effect of learning approaches, the value ofthe test statistic is Fcount > Ftable = 10.096 > 4, accordingly Ho1 rejected. Thismeans that there are very significant differences between the effects of theapplication of the learning with scientific learning approach based on environmentand the learning with guided inquiry learning approach based on environmentalabout the student learning outcomes on fifth grade of elementary school. 2) Fcount> Ftable = 15.262 > 4.01 accordingly Ho1 rejected. This means there is a verysignificant difference in effect between students who have low learningmotivation, against high learning motivation about student learning outcomes onfifth grade of elementary school. 3) In the interaction effects of learningapproaches and students science learn motivation, test statistics value are Fcount >Ftable = 8.207 > 4,01, accordingly Ho3 rejected. That Means there is a significantinteraction between the uses of learning approaches with students motivationabout learning outcomes on fifth grade of elementary school. 4) The learning withscientific approach based on environment on highly motivated students have abetter learning outcomes than low motivated students, as well as better thanstudents taught through guided inquiry learning approach to highly motivatedstudents and low motivated students.Keyword: learning outcomes of IPA, motivation, scientific and guided inquiry
