ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasilbelajar ekonomi peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 MAN Karanganyar 2014/2015melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukandalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaantindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelasXI IPS 1 MAN Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 36peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi,wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknikdan sumber. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis teknik deskriptifkomparatif dan analisis kritis.Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan hipotesis telah diterima.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran tipeThink Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi peserta didikKelas XI IPS di MAN Karangayar Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Hal ini dibuktikanpada siklus I dan siklus II bahwa keaktifan peserta didik yang ditinjau dariindikator keaktifan meningkat (presentase pra siklus 30,02%, siklus I 75,23% dansiklus II 84,37%). It provedin the first cycle and the second cycle that the students activities that is viewedfrom the activities indicator is increasing (percentage of pre cycle 30,02%, cycle I75,23% and cycle II 84,37%).
