ABSTRAK

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara model pembelajaran problem based learning, model inkuiri dan ekspositori terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada pokok bahasan sebaran barang tambang di Indonesia di SMA N 1 Banyudono tahun ajaran 2015/2016, (2) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara model pembelajaran problem based learning dan ekspositori terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik, (3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara model pembelajaran inkuiri dan ekspositori terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik (4) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara model pembelajaran problem based learning dan inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik
Penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design atau penelitian eksperimen semu. Adapun model quasi eksperimental design yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Only postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh kelas XI IIS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh kelas XI.IIS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol, XI.IIS 3 sebagai kelas problem based learning dan kelas XI.IIS 4 sebagai kelas inkuiri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan berdiskusi, angket penilaian sikap dan tes pengetahuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah anava satu jalan (one-way anava) dan dilanjutkan pasca anava dengan metode scheffe pada taraf signifikansi 5%.
Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang signifikan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning, inkuiri, dan ekspositori 2) Model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran ekspositori 3) Model pembelajaran inkuiri lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori dan 4) Model pembelajaran inkuiri sama efektifnya dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning.

This research aims at 1)knowing the differences between problem-based learning model and inquiry-based learning model, and expository model in the students’ geography learning outcomes on the topic of mining distribution in Indonesia of SMA N 1 Banyudono Academic Year 2015/2016, 2) knowing the differences between problem-based learning model and expository learning model in the students’ learning outcomes, 3) knowing the differences between inquiry-based learning model and expository learning model in the students’ geography learning outcomes, 4) knowing the differences between problem-based learning model and inquiry-based learning model in the students’ learning outcomes.
This research is quasi experimental design. As for the quasi experimental design model used in this research is Only postest control group design. The population of the research was the students of class XI.IIS of SMA N 1 Banyudono Academic Year 2015/2016. The samples of the research were collected by using purposive sampling technique thus aquired XI. IIS 1 as the control class, XI. IIS 3 as the problem based learning class, XI. IIS 4 as the inquiry-based learning. The data were collected by using discussion recording sheet, questionnaire of assessment of knowledge attitude and practice. The data analysis used is one-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and continued with post-hoc test ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) by using scheffe method on the significant level of 5%.
Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) there are differences of significant students’ learning outcomes of using problem-based learning,inquiry-based learning, and expository, (2) Problem-based learning model is more effective than expository model, (3) Inquiry-based learning model is more effective than expository, 4) Both inquiry-based learning model and problem-based learning are the same effective.
