Solo Radio is one of the finest radio in Solo, and it’s a subsidiary of Ardan Bandung Radio - joined by the group of PT Radio Bintang Media Swara. The writer chose Solo Radio as a place for Kuliah Kerja Media, because Solo Radio is a local radio which is preferred by young people today in Solo.
From the implementation of Kuliah Kerja Media in Solo Radio, writer got a lot of experience and knowledge in the field of radio broadcasting were very useful, one of them as stated in the author's essay, namely Producer Roles of “Sriwedari” Program in Solo Radio 92, 9 FM. Some roles that writer lived in the radio among others: preparing the materials, informations, and news for broadcast program content; create a script; create guide for interview questions; an admin of social media such as Twitter and Facebook to post any information related to Solo Radio; create video footage of live interviews, video footage of the event organized by Radio Solo or in collaboration with Solo Radio, and promotional video of the broadcast programs; preparing equipments to broadcast outdoors; coordinate announcers when performing outdoor broadcast; coordinate announcers to always keep the SOP at the time of airing; and help the quiz segment either by phone or social media.
Thus after conducting Kuliah Kerja Media in Solo Radio can be seen that roles of producer are very important both from the pre production, production, post production.
