× The purpose of this research is to know: (1) there is or there is not an influence of differences in mathematical ability of students high and low categories of the cognitive abilities of students in Physics course; (2) there is or there is not an influence of differences in students' ability to logical thinking high and low categories of the cognitive abilities of students in Physics course; (3) there is or there is not an influence of interaction between mathematic ability and logical thinking on cognitive abilities of students in Physics course. The method used is a quantitative method. The population in the study were all students of class X SMK Citra Medika Health Sukoharjo Academic Year 2015/2016 with a sample of 94 students. Sampling was done by total sampling technique. Data collection techniques using documentation technique and test technique. Documentation techniques used to obtain data mathematical ability and cognitive abilities physics student, while the test techniques used to obtain data logical thinking ability of students. Analyzed using Anova test, one way Anova and two way Anova. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing that has been done, the results of this study can be summarized as follows: (1) There is a difference between the effects of mathematical ability of students high and low categories terjadap cognitive abilities of students in physics. The analysis showed that there was significantly positive effect on cognitive abilities of mathematical ability of students in physics. Shown with sig = 0.000 <0.05. (2) There is a difference between thinking logically influence students high and low categories terjadap cognitive abilities of students in physics. The analysis showed significantly shows that there is a positive influence on cognitive abilities of mathematical ability of students in physics. Shown with sig = 0.000 <0.05. (3) There is an interaction jointly between math skills and logical thinking on cognitive abilities of students in physics. Shown with sig = 0.001 <0.000.
