Abstract
Tellurium Zinc Natrium oxide (TZN) Glasses with different TiO2 composition are fabricated and characterized. The characterization include: density, refractive index, UV Absorbtion and Band Gap Energy. From the characterization, obtained the value of density of glass (5,490-5,427)g/cm2. Refractive index generated from 1,911- 2,005. The Band Gap Energy obtained from 3,03 – 2,60 eV. The UV-Vis Measurement showed shifted wavelenght. It was found that TiO2 contributes in the highest extent to decreased the density and gap energy when the doped of TiO2 was increased (Yusof et al., 2015). Otherwise, the value of refractive index was increased with the shifted wavelenght in UV-Vis measurement. It was suggest the possibility of long range order locally arising from the formation of TiTe3O3 group (Strambouli et al., 2012).
