This internship report is written based on internship activity I did in Ganesa Library at Jl. Raya Songgolangit No. 30 Gentan, Baki, Sukoharjo for a month from 16 January 2018 – 16 February 2018. The objective of the report is to explain the activities and the problems that I faced during the internship in Ganesa Library.
This internship gave me working experiences and knowledge in translating children’s books. There were main activity and additional activity that I did during the internship. The main activity was translating English Childen Story Book into Bahasa Indonesia. The additional activities were joining GES (Ganesa English Speaking), Telling Story, and GRC (Ganesa Reading Community). The problems that I faced when conducting the internship were translating onomatopoeia and translating difficult terms. The solution for the problem were I used dictionary and laptop to help me to get the translation in target language.
