ABSTRACT This internship report describes the activities I did during the internship, the translation process of job description of the offshore drilling project, the problems I faced during the translation process, and the solutions for the problems.  The main activity that I did during my internship at Translexi was to translate job description of the offshore drilling project from English to Indonesian. The steps I did were analyzing, transferring, and restructuring. I encountered some problems, they were problems in understanding the meaning of sentences, translating difficult terms, translating imperative verbs, translating terms and equipment that have abbreviation, and translating words that have more than one meaning. The solutions for these problems were understanding the context of the sentence, finding out the purpose of the sentence, reading the drilling articles, and finding out the definition and equivalent of the terms on the internet.
