Abstrak

This final report was written based on the internship activities at Balai Bahasa Jawa Tengah conducted from 15th January to 15th February 2018. The objective of this final report is to give information about (1) Internship activities that I did for a month at Balai Bahasa Jawa Tengah, (2) the problems while translating the journal article, and (3) the solution in translating journal article.
The main activity that I did was translating journal article. During translation
activity, I faced some problems namely: a) problem with technical terms, b) words with non-literal meaning, and c) common problems. To solve the problems, I gave solution by using translation techniques, looking for the references on the internet, and using both monolingual and bilingual dictionaries. Moreover, I also did several assignments outside of translation activities such as making a broadcasting script draft for RRI, and making list of dishes made of corns, and etc.
