ABSTRACT

This internship report was written based on internship activities at Museum Keris. The objectives of this internship report are to describe the job training activities and to explain the problems and solution in translating storyline of Museum Keris. It aims to get readable and accurate translation text that will be published to improve facilities at Museum Keris.

The result of translation process indicated that the problems were having lack of vocabulary, having lack of information, finding difficulties in selecting the correct
word, and having less mastery on editing application. I found out some solutions to solve those problems such as; using some translation techniques, looking for references in the books and Internet, and discussing with supervisor and internship partners. Those solving problem was effective during translation process to create a good quality of
translation text.
