The objective of the report is to explain my activities during my internship program. I worked in a group. My group had two main projects. The projects, making a bilingual leaflet and making a promotional video, aim to help Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports of Klaten promote the tourist attractions. From those projects, I got tasks to make contents or promotional texts for four tourist attractions, to design the layout of the leaflet, and to put the subtitles in the promotional video. My activities were doing observation to all tourist attractions, writing the contents of the leaflet, designing the leaflet layout, inserting the subtitles in the video, and submitting the final leaflet and the final promotional video. My leaflet contents contain some genres of text and persuasive languages which are intended to build audiences’ interest. The genres are narrative text to tell the folklore related to the tourist attraction and the descriptive text to describe the tourist attractions.
