The objective of this final project report is to describe the internship activities conducted by the writer at Balai Bahasa Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. This report was written based on the internship activities from 1 February until 28 February. There were four main activities conducted by the writer during the internship. There are writing news script for RRI Yogyakarta, writing essay, producing entries for KBBI, and the last is translating international journal from Indonesian into English. The objective of this report is to elaborate the problems in translating the journal. There were some problems faced, such as dealing with difficult words, spesific technical terms, and word repetition. The assesment of the supervisor helped the writer solving the problems, such as re-reading the translation result, asking someone else to read the final result, checking the words in KBBI, and then looking for some parallel articles in order to comprehend the terms used.
