Abstrak
This final project is written based on the internship training which I have done in SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta. This final project report describing teaching writing Procedure Text for 7th Grade Students at SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta.
There are three objectives in this final project report. The first is to describe the teaching and learning process in writing procedure text to 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta, the second is to describe the problems of teaching and learning process in writing procedure text to 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 6
Surakarta, the last is to describe the solutions of teaching and learning process in writing procedure text to 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Surakarta.
I apply three steps in teaching procedure text. They are warming up that prepares psychological readiness of the students, presenting the materials of procedure text by watching the videos, and giving the task to students.
There are many problems encountered in teaching procedure text. First, problem was encountered by students. They are unconcerned students, limited vocabularies, and uninterested students. Second, the problems were faced by the teacher. They are uncooperative students, lack of time and lack of audio.
