There is an interaction between lecturer and students in learning process especially on students’ performance in speaking class. It can be shown by the role of feedback that involveslecturer and students.The aims of the research are: (1) to explain the focus of feedback given by the lecturer in Speaking class for second semester students in English Program at Veteran Bangun Nusantara University of Sukoharjo; (2) to describe the ways feedback that were given by the lecturer in Speaking class for second semester students in English Program at Veteran Bangun Nusantara University of Sukoharjo; and (3) to explore the students’ response for feedback that they receive in speaking class. This research was conducted by using qualitative case study method. The data was collected by interviewing lecturer and the students, observing speaking activity and also taking document analysis. There were three steps done after collecting data namely data reduction, data display, and then conclusion. The findings show : (1) The focus of feedback given by the lecturer in Speaking class is grammar, pronunciation, diction, fluency; (2) Feedback was given by the lecturer in Speaking class by using explicit correction, constructing the way forward, metalinguistic, elicitation, repetition of error, body language, recast, specifying improvement, and clarification request; and (3) The students’ response for feedback that they receive in Speaking class was positive response to know their problems in speaking practice and then getting the solution.
