Abstrak :

EXTRACURRICULAR LEARNING OF GRAPHIC ARTS SCREEN PRINTING IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 PAMOTAN  REMBANG IN THE SECOND SEMESTER OF YEAR 2015/2016. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. January 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The process of screen printing extra-curricular learning, 2) process to work and work on extracurricular learning screen printing, 3) Constraints and supporting factors in the learning process extracurricular screen printing. The research was conducted in Junior High School 1 Pamotan. This study used descriptive qualitative single case study research approach. Source of data used in the form of informants, places and events, archives and documents. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, analysis of documents and archives. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The validity of the data using triangulation of data and review the informant. Data analysis technique used is the process flow analysis model stage includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. It can be concluded that: 1) The purpose of learning extracurricular screen printing is to give space to the students to be able to explore the potential in the field of basic skills in the business world, and as development activities intracurricular art once the container character education so that students grow tolerance, not arrogant, respect for others, mutual cooperation, etc. 2) The model is the applied learning model of explicit instruction. 3) Learning is delivered with lectures, question and answer, practice or drill assignment. 4) Learning materials include a) the kind, disposition and function of the tools and materials used. b) Preparation of screen printing designs. c) Printing (Afdruk) Process. d) Casting process. e) Removing screen process. f) Setting the works. g) Caring of tools and materials. There was also the motivation on the learner. 5) Instructional media use only audio-visual form of video tutorials. 6) Evaluation merely spoken in the learning process. 7) The process of extracurricular learning in Junior High School 1 Pamotan as a support of the activities to achieve the intra-curricular activities. 8) The problem faced in the learning of the screen printing, among others, art gallery space is not installed LCD projectors and air in the art gallery feels a bit hot. 9). Tools and materials are complete and open the supervising teacher and the learners who diligently follow extracurricular screen printing.
