Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony becomes one of local wisdom in Malang Regency. Traditional ceremony Labuhan Gunung Kombang is still held because people still feel the meaning and values of education in it. The meaning and values of the local genius have relevance to Javenese learning in hight school. This study aims to describe and explain: (1) the background of Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony; (2) procession of  Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony; (3) local wisdom value; and (4) the relevance of Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony as Javanese teaching material in high school. This research was conducted in Kedungsalam Village, Malang Regency and in Ngliyep Beach, Malang Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data are: transcript of interviews; information about background of Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony, procession of  Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony, local wisdom value, and information about relevance of Labuhan Gunung Kombang tradisional ceremony as Javanese teaching material in high school. The sources of data are: interviewees, execution of Labuhan Gunung Kombang, document. This research uses purposive sampling technique. Data validity uses source triangulation and theory triangulation, while data analysis in this study uses interactive analysis techniques, namely interacting three main components which include data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the research showed: 1) the background of Labuhan Gunung Kombang traditional rite in Malang Regency included: a) the condition of region, b) history of  Labuhan Gunung Kombang traditional ceremony, c) the purpose of Labuhan Gunung Kombang traditional ceremony; 2) Labuhan Gunung Kombang procession, a series of activities carried out over two days, namely the preparatory stage and the stage of fading; 3) the values of local wisdom included: religious, social, history, cultural, and economy; 4) the relevance of Labuhan Gunung Kombang traditional ceremony with the learning of Javanese in the school, which can create learning based on local culture and can take the values of local wisdom to shape the character of students in high school.
