The objective of this report is to explain the internship activities conducted by the writer. This report was written based on the internship conducted in the Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports of Pacitan Regency from February 6th   until March 6th 2017.

The main activity of this internship was translating short descriptions of Pacitan’s tourisms objects for booklet of Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports of Pacitan Regency. There were 25 short descriptions that had been translated for the booklet. I was with one of the staffs there classified the 25 short descriptions into three terms namely cultural term, natural term and artificial and culinary term. This classification was aimed to facilitate the process of translation and make it look presentable. The problems during the internship were translating unfamiliar words and looking for acceptable words. There were two solutions that I sought to solve those problems namely asking for native speaker or lecturer and searching for parallel text on the internet.
