Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mendeskripsikan bahan ajar sejarah yang selama ini diajarkan di SMA Muhammadiyah Raha, (2) Mendeskripsikan Pengembangan bahan ajar sejarah terintegrasi perjuangan Martha Christina Tiahahu di SMA Muhammadiyah Raha, (3) Menguji Keefektifan bahan ajar sejarah terintegarsi perjuangan Martha Christina Tiahahu untuk meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa.
Metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Reseach and Development/ R&D) dari Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sukmadinata menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu : (1) Tahap Studi Pendahuluan yakni studi lapangan, studi pustaka, analisis kebutuhan  (2) Tahap Pengembangan meliputi: desain draft awal, bentuk draft awal, uji validasi, uji coba lapangan, bentuk draf akhir (3) Tahap Keefektifan Bahan Ajar yakni menguji keefektifan bahan ajar.
Hasil yang diperoleh : (1) Bahan ajar mengacu pada kurikulum 2013, terfokus pada satu buku teks tanpa adanya buku pendamping maupun pengembangan bahan ajar yang lain, fasilitas sekolah terkait bahan ajar sejarah masih minim, kurang memberikan materi yang bisa meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa dan guru terlalu mengejar waktu untuk menyelesaikan materi sehingga perlu adanya bahan ajar dengan penekanan yang bisa meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa. (2) Bahan ajar yang disusun berdasarkan model Discovery Learning kemudian divalidasi dan diuji coba terbatas dan luas. Hasil penilaian validasi adalah Ahli Materi diperoleh rata-rata 4,45 dengan kategori baik, Ahli desain pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata 4,77 dengan kategori sangat baik. Uji coba terbatas kelompok kecil dilakukan pada 5 siswa dengan skor nilai rata-rata 4,45, uji coba terbatas kelompok besar dilakukan pada 10 siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 4,82 sedangkan uji coba luas dengan skor nilai rata-rata 5 dan pada pretes 132 dan Post tes  dan hasil tes pengetahuan dengan taraf siginifikansi 0,00 ? 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan, (3) Bahan ajar sejarah perjuangan Martha Christina Tiahahu melalui pendekatan discovery learning  terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa, uji statistik diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 106 dan nilai rata-rata postest sebesar 113 sedangkan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai sebesar 3, 758 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,00.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to: (1) Describe the teaching materials of history that had been taught at SMA Muhammadiyah Raha, (2) Describe the development of teaching material
history of the integrated Martha Christina Tiahahu’s struggle in SMA Muhammadiyah Raha, (3) Test the effectiveness of the teaching materials of history integrated Martha Christina Tiahahu’s struggle to raise awareness of the history student.
Research Methods Development (Reseach and Development / R & D) from Borg and Gall modified by Sukmadinata into three stages, namely: (1) Phase Preliminary Study
the field studies, literature, requirements analysis (2) Development Phase includes: the design of an early draft, early draft form, test validation, field trials, final draft form (3) Stage effectiveness Subjects that test the effectiveness of teaching materials.
The results were obtained: (1) the teaching materials referring to the curriculum in 2013, focused on the textbooks without a companion book as well as the development
of teaching materials other facilities related school teaching materials of history is still minimal, less provide material that could raise the awareness of history of students and teachers too pursuit of time to complete the material so that the need for teaching materials with an emphasis that could raise awareness of the history student. (2) The teaching materials compiled based discovery learning models are then validated and tested unrestricted and widespread. The assessment results are validation Matter Experts gained
an average of 4.45 in both categories, instructional design experts gained an average of 4.77 with very good category. Limited trial conducted in small groups of 5 students with average scores of 4.45, pretest 132 and Post tests and test results with a level of knowledge siginificance ? 0.00 0.05 then we can conclude that a significant difference before and after being treated, (3) Teaching materials Martha Christina Tiahahu’s struggle history through discovery learning approach to improve students' awareness of history proved to be effective, the statistical test result average pretest score of 106 and an average post-test score of 113 while the T test results obtained a value of 3, 758 with a significance level of 0.00.
