ABSTRAK

This report is written based on internship program at Tourism Department of Semarang Regency starting from 2019. The objectives of the internship are to Upgrade the quality of tourism promotion of Tourism Department of Semarang Regency. There were three main projects that I did. They were translating website, translating brochure, and making video subtitle. There were three steps that I did to translate the projects. They were analysing, transferring, and restructuring. There were some problems faced during conducting the projects. The problems were related to translating cultural terms and confusing expressions in the Source Text. I also present the solutions to overcome the problems. The solutions were looking for the cultural words or terms in the online dictionary and some articles then finding the proper strategies.
