Abstrak
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis pendidikan kritis pada ekstrakurikuler Teater. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara 12 informan. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui observasi latihan dan dokumentasi naskah AA II UU serta LANGKAH. Dalam pengambilan subjek penelitian, teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk menggali informasi dari seorang pelatih, 3 alumni, 8 informan peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan uji validitas data yaitu trialungasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, paparan data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Proses latihan ektrakurikuler teater di sekolah terbagi menjadi 3 yaitu latihan dasar, latihan rutin dan latihan pentas. Dari ketiga latihan, analisis pendidikan kritis akan berfokus pada latihan pentas (2) Latihan pentas merupakan puncak praktik dari latihan lainnya yang mengandung unsur kodifikasi teks dan berisi laku-laku pemahaman ( acts of cognition) (3) Pada latihan pentas, terdapat macam-macam tahapan yaitu bedah naskah, reading, casting, blocking, running, dan pentas. (4) Pentas AA II UU yang dilaksanakan dengan mengadaptasi naskah film mengandung unsur kodifikasi teks pada tahap bedah naskah dan reading (5) Proses latihan LANGKAH yang mengandung unsur pendidikan yang membebaskan. Hal ini dikarenakan, proses LANGKAH terlaksana tanpa sutradara, sehingga peserta didik mengimplementasikan pengetahuan tentang teter dan kritik sosial secara mandiri. Proses tersebut berisi proses penemuan kembali (reinventing), penciptaan kembali (recreating), penulisan ulang (rewriting) peserta didik atas pengetahuan yang selama ini diterima selama Latihan Dasar dan Latihan Rutin.
Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Study teater belum sepenuhnya melaksanakan konsep pendidikan kritis Paulo Freire. (2) Beberapa konsep Pendidikan kritis Paulo Freire, hanya ditemukan 2 indikator yang mampu untuk mengkaji hasil temuan data. Kedua konsep tersebut yaitu konsep penolakan objek tabungan pengetahuan dan dialog. (3) Proses latihan pentas pertunjukan, dikaji dengan menggunakan konsep penolakan objek tabungan pengetahuan. (4) Proses eksplorasi naskah dan proses kreatif selama latihan pertunjukan mengandung unsur pembebaskan laku-laku pemahaman ( acts of cognition) dan kodifikasi naskah. (5) Proses dialog formal (pada saat latihan) dan proses dialog non formal dikaji menggunakan konsep dialog sebagai praktik pembebasan.

Abstact
This study aimed to describe critical educational analysis of theater extracurricular. This study used qualitative method with case study approach. The data sources used were primary data and secondary data. The primary data were obtained by interview. There were 12 informants. Furthermore, the secondary data were obtained through observation and script documentations ofAA II UU and LANGKAH In taking the subject of the study, purposive sampling technique was used to elicit information from a trainer, 3 alumni, and 8 students. The study used validity test ofthe data including triangulation ofsources and methods. Data analysis technique used was one ofMiles & Huberman's model that consisted of data reduction, and data display along with conclusion and verification.
The results showed that: (1) The rehearsal processes of theater extracurricular were divided into 3 including basic rehearsal, routine rehearsal, and stage performance rehearsal. From those 3 rehearsals, critical educational analysis focused on stage performance rehearsal. (2) Stage performance rehearsal was the peak ofrehearsal than other rehearsals that contained elements of text codification and contained acts of cognition. (3) In stage performance rehearsal, there were various stages including doing script analysis, reading, casting, blocking, running, and performing. (4) Stage performance ofAA II UU that was implemented by adapting screenplay contained elements of text codification in the stage of doing script analysis and reading. (5) The rehearsal processes of LANGKAH contained elements of liberal education. It happened because the LANGKAH processes were accomplished without a director; therefore students implemented knowledge of theater and social criticism independently. The processes consisted of reinventing, recreating, and rewriting conducted by the students from the knowledge that had been received during basic and routine rehearsal.
Based on the data, it could be concluded that (1) The Study oftheater had not fully implemented the critical educational concept ofPaulo Freire. (2) From some of the critical educational concepts of Paulo Freire, It was only found two indicators that could examine the findings. The two concepts were denial concept of knowledge saving and dialogue. (3) The stage performance rehearsal that had been implicated in the stage were examined using the denial concept ofknowledge saving. (4) The exploration processes of script and creative processes during rehearsal containedfreedom elements ofacts of cognition and the codification of the script. (5) The processes offormal dialogue (during rehearsal) and non• formal dialogue processes (outside rehearsal schedule implemented outside the school) were examined using the concept ofdialogue as a liberation practice.
