This internship report is written based on the job training activity done by the writer from 14th September until 14th November 2015 in PT Monex Investindo Futures, Surakarta. The objectives of this report are to describe the process of translating economic texts in PT Monex Investindo Futures, and to find out the problems and solutions of the process of translating economic texts in PT Monex Investindo Futures, Surakarta.

This report focuses on the process of translating economic texts in PT Monex Investindo Futures. It is expected to be additional information about the process of translating economic texts, also to give information about the working situation as a news translator in PT Monex Investindo Futures. The activities he did were adaptation, finding suitable articles, translating economic texts, and educating the marketing division. The writer also found three problems during the internship; problem in finding suitable articles, problems in translating economic texts, and problem in educating the marketing division. By doing self control wisely and communicating with the other translators, the first problemscan be solved. For the second problems, the writer chose to ask seniors on how to solve the problems and find online help from the internet. For the third problems, the writer asked the senior marketing and prepares the simple terms in Bahasa Indonesia to solve them.
