This report is written based on internship program at the Department of Cultural and Tourism of Malang City from 21 January – 21 February 2019. The objectives of
this report are to descibe about internship activities,  to explain the obstacles experienced when translating and to describe the strategies to overcome the problems during the internship program.
This report shows the internship activities done to translate Malang Menyapa website content and tourism brochure of Malang. There are three steps done in order to to make my translation readable in target language, they are : analyzing the whole text, understanding the source text, and transferring into target language. I also faced several problems during internship program such as selecting diction, describing technical terms, and translating spesific cultural terms. The strategies to overcome the problems are: 1) finding the parallel texts in google, and 2) searching the meaning of spesific words in online dictionary such as oxford dictionary and cambridge dictionary
