This research aims to find the types of blaming strategy that are used by the character in the sequel movies. Besides, this research also aims to find the types of impoliteness strategy that are used by the characters. Moreover, this research aims to describe the factors that influence the characters in choosing the blaming strategy used in the sequel movies. Then, this research aims to find the reason why the characters use impoliteness strategy that are used behind of blaming utterances that appear in the sequel of The Lion King movie. In conducting this study, the descriptive qualitative method is used since the data that are collected in this study are the blaming utterances of conversations uttered by the characters in sequel of The Lion King movie.

The result of this study shows that there are four types of blaming strategy that are mostly used by the characters in the movie, they are implicit modified blame, alternative blame, explicit blame by behavior, and explicit blame by personal. There are four types of impoliteness strategies that are used by the characters, they are bald on record impoliteness, positive impoliteness, negative impoliteness, and sarcasm/mock impoliteness. Besides, there are only two factors that influence the characters in the movie while blaming the others, they are power distance rating and social distance rating. Last, there is only a specific reason why the characters use impoliteness strategy behind the blaming utterances that appear in the movie. From the four reasons that maybe can be found in the movie, but only the conflictive reason is mostly used by the characters.
